Personally I think Ford just hand grenaded the most popular vehicle in North America. I’ll never drive an electric F-150. Looks like when it’s time to buy a new truck I’ll be swapping to GMC. They are already a better looking truck anyway.

I was turned off by them shoving that ecoboost engine down everyone’s throat and this is an even worse turn as far as I’m concerned.

If I ever buy another F150 it’ll be at least 5 years old. I’m still driving my 2010 with the V8 and it’s closing in on 240,000 miles with no engine work.

I hate the idea of buying anything right now. I told her we should buy an Excursion for her grocery getting and grandbaby hauling and get her a car for her daily driving. She said no because I'd just redneck it out like the last one.

You must not have the 5.4 liter engine then, those things are dogs. If I had to do it all over again I would have bought another Tundra when I got rid of my first gen Tundra and bought an F150.

Everything has better fuel mileage than the V-10 did.

The trick to the "new" diesels is to delete the egr and def. Once you get that emissions crap off them they'll last 1/2 a million miles easily.

I’ve been very happy with it. I bumper pulled around 16k lbs and it did fine. Final load of dirt in a dump trailer and it was wet and overloaded. Just turned about 1500 more rpm on acceleration and same rpm at cruise.

But as anybody who’s has pulled any weight will tell you, pulling a big load isn’t about acceleration it’s about control and stopping primarily. That’s why I kinda giggle in thinking about pulling 12k lbs with a half ton. I wouldnt want to do it.
