Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I was discussing this the other day. The CDC and other sites recommending vaccination after active immunity are using very vague and conditional phrases. They mention reinfection but I didn't see any research on reinfections or rates of reinfection. You have any resources?
Just word of mouth from a couple of friends who are physicians. There have been some instances where any lingering symptoms have cleared up as a result of being vaccinated

Appreciate the reply.

I don't think it is sop to acquired immunity after active immunity is achieved with other viruses but SARS types may be special.

From what I’ve seen online it’s a fairly small chance. One study back in Jan said people that have had covid had antibodies for 8 months after recovery. And it may stretch longer than that. Contradicted some conclusions reached last summer.

Did the study you're referencing give a percentage?

I’ll have to find it again when I get home to see. Waiting too long in drive through line for burgers.

Google covid 8 month antibody if you get impatient. It should pop up under there. Ny times article, nih article, and a couple others referencing the same thing.

found it. thanks

Yeah, I do find it unacceptable. For starters, I wasn't asking you so you are commenting on something you know nothing about. So why should I find it acceptable? You dont know anything about it...

Secondly, IF that was the case the doctor should get in trouble for discussing private matters on a public message board. I don't think he/she would do that.[/QUOTE]
In the future I will try to restrain myself on this public message board Pollyanna. Can't promise anything though.

You seem frustrated today Tasty. We all trade barbs on here but you’re usually fairly jovial. I sincerely hope everything is ok with you today. Have a great evening!
