They haven’t, and probably won’t honestly. They are very close but the SEC is monster. Feels like they are one piece away. But I won’t be betting against them. The fact they are rubbing elbows with the big boys is crazy impressive though.

Oh no doubt, and I didn't say that to pooh-pooh anything they have done. The SEC is even better/deeper at baseball than they are at football, and Tony V has taken this team from a complete joke to strong contender in just 3 seasons (not even counting the 2020 "season").

I love the incremental steps they've taken each season. His first season wasn't good but was better than Serrano's final season. The second season they started winning games they were supposed to win but faltered against the good conference teams. This year they've started beating the good conference teams and are one of the best teams in the conference during the regular season. It still does feel like they are a season or two away from the next step, making noise in the postseason.

Havent even had coffee yet and AV plus Scotty trying to work me up...on a Monday no less. Sad!
