The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Tough loss for the Colts. Unfortunately, while San Diego and Rivers kept trying to give the game away...repeatedly, the Charger's D was able to keep the Colts from scoring game-clinching points.

Again tough loss, but still a very good season and an MVP season for Manning along with plenty of records among the team. Hope they're able to come right out of the gate after making the appropriate offseason adjustments...cause unfortunately you-know-who's going to be back in the NorthEast next year. Best of luck next year guys!

Titans fan first but I will say once again, as in the seasons that preceeded the superbowl concerning the Colts, everyone put it in Peytons lap to win the game. They are a sole passing team with O run support.

Well he did have some key drops.

Manning played well enough to win. Hardly anyone else did. And Dungy is a horrible playoff coach. I think that's been more than proven now.

Colts were a one man band. No run support and a weak defense. Peyton deserves that MVP for hoisting that team on his back and carrying them around all year.

But he has a Super Bowl ring... >.>

'Twas an entertaining game, nonetheless... I've always known Sproles was going to be good. Looks like this was his coming out party. Fast little bastage. I'm a Peyton fan, sorry to see him knocked out of the playoffs so early.

Yes and should have 2 or 3. I would argue he's underachieved by getting only 1.

theyve also unfortunately have kept having to play against a pats team that could be comparible to past cowboys/9ers teams and kept coming in 2nd to them (no i'm not a pats fan and dont support them)

Phew, Titans biggest threat was eliminated.

no, the steelers had a bye. the titans will pay for stomping on the terrible towels a couple of weeks ago. complete lack of class. that happens sometimes when teams that usually have unsuccessful seasons begin winning.

Yeah, if the Steelers and Titans meet again and the Steelers win, it'll be because of what a few guys did to a piece of cloth. It won't be because of what happens on the field that day, it'll be because of actions against a towel.

That crap goes a little to far doesn't it. I'd say the steelers would be motivated enough after the butt whopping the titans put on them. But your right if the steelers win, it will be because we stomped on one of their towels. Thats about the eqivalent of them stomping on one of our foam titan swords:crazy:

how was rothlisberger by the way? how bad did the concussion turn out to be?

I think this is an overlooked item in the playoff picture. If Big Ben gets clocked again, will he be able to go if they win? He's got what 3 already? He's gaining on Aikman and we all know how his career ended.

In 2005 they didn't even play the Pats. Granted they lost to the eventual Super Bowl champs but still, that was the year they flirted with going undefeated. They still should have beaten the Steelers. And last year they might have lost at NE but they still should have made it to the AFC Championship.

Harrison and Dungy might be gonenext season.

I'm a huge Titans fan and I get sick and tired of the media and other teams not giving respect where respect is due. The Tennessee vs Pittsburgh game was huge for us, we were disrespected by the media the entire week and we played with a chip on our shoulders. Steeler fans shouldn't bring that towl to an opponent's house and not expect the home town team to do something to it if the team wins big.

The towl stomping was deserved in my opinion the team has had the media against us all season and we proved we deserve the #1 seed, if the Steelers need the towl stomping to motivate them to win the rematch (if it comes down to that) then they shouldn't even be in the playoffs.

Now that I got that off my back, the game last night was amazing and the playoffs once again prove interesting.

Collins still in playoffs, we have a bye today.Next question.

Manning could start for all 32 NFL teams. Collins was forced to settle for the one stupid enough to draft Vince Young.

Additionally, Manning started the season. Collins had to wait for Vince Young to spiral into clinical depression.
