He was also doomed to fail because everyone even down to the student body loved Harris Pastides. My girlfriend at the time who was a USC student then was devastated when he retired.

It really does blow my mind how some kids make their decisions.

Ty Simpson - Wanted to be a Vol and play in Pruitt/Chaney's anemic scoring-challenged offense, yet goes straight to Bama after we bring in a QB and offensive guru HC.

All the DL - really wanted to come play for DL Coach Casper the Ghost, but then bring in the best DL coach in the entire country and dudes are like, nah the NFL ain't really what I'm looking for.

Why did TN have to get good at baseball? That was the one sport I had as a Class of '21 Arkansas alum. Went to the '19 CWS in Omaha. Regionals and Super Regionals at Baum. Countless other games. TN and AR aren't rivals. Everything was good! Now, I don't know what to do with myself. I want to pull for the Hogs, but when I see that orange and white I get a feeling...a feeling deep down...deep down in me plums! GBO

I get you. But 5 years ago no one would have thought playoff teams were there because of the portal. This is the new recruiting. As or more important than getting the HS kids imo. Mos of the HS kids are 1 or 2 yr rentals. 4 or even 3 yr starters are rare. It’s going to become the new norm

Wild Adventures rides are pathetic county fair quality rides...

You have to go to the big boys to get the awesome world class rides..but I do agree about Six Flags Atlanta, they have stagnated badly the last decade.

Cedar Pointe is the mecca imo...that place is a blast.
