Is this gas shortage thing real? Cause I got two cars on E right now ha. Need to know if I should be worried
Its like toilet paper was last year, yes there is a shortage, no it won’t last that long. Are people compounding the issue by panic buying? Yes. Do you need to fill up today, I would.

This gas hoarding situation is really stupid, but at least it makes logical sense. There is an actual gasoline supply problem.

In the pandemic, there was never a toilet paper supply problem, and it isn't like you can eat or drink it. It is just amazing to me the psychology behind wanting to stock up on that because of a situation where you think you might be stuck in your house.

There became a toilet paper supply problem 1,000,000%

There was never really a toilet paper supply problem during the pandemic. The shortages/empty shelves were caused by people hoarding it.
I hear ya but I live in a decent sized metro and certainly the over the road transportation capital of the continent but the only place you could get toilet paper for months was a dollar store because my suburb is boujee

I know - that was largely because as soon as new TP hit the shelves, idiots would swarm to that store and clean it out. There were Facebook groups and such that were tracking stores that had it and who didn't. That situation was never about lack of supply.

That is funny that the dollar store had it...folks wanted their TP, but were too good to go to Dollar General to get it. They only want that Germantown Publix TP.

No issues getting gas. $2.49 suckers
I bet you're far enough to the west to be served primarily by some other pipeline, maybe one coming over from Oklahoma or somewhere in north Texas (not Houston). Seems like Alabama/southeast Tennessee/Georgia/the Carolinas are hardest hit by this, given where the pipeline runs.

It’s because we have superior local government and infrastructure (🥸)
