Getting first Moderna shot tomorrow. I’d hoped to get a J&J, but they’re scarce at the moment. I’m off the next three days, so if it kicks my butt, I’ll be miserable at home.

Going to see my parents this summer so I went ahead and got one. They're older and mom isn't in the best of health

Got the J&J and have no side effects. Arm isn't even sore. Someone told me to be extra hydrated so I drank water for the couple days before.

I've always thought the virus was more than just an innocent look at something normally found in bats. It's possible that there were Chinese lab monkeys playing around with stuff beyond their capabilities - and that includes some invited international lab monkeys, too; and the fools opened Pandora's box inadvertently releasing the virus. On the other hand it sure would have been a great opportunity for the Chinese military to judge world susceptibility and gauge what some serious biological warfare might really accomplish - like a dress rehearsal with something deniable. If it weren't for the early experience in China and the certainty that the Chinese are lying about deaths and infections there, you'd almost get the impression it was genetically designed to attack certain races.
