Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Yes and also because as these restrictions are lifted , the bad numbers with the economy , and the side effects of all these lock downs / stay at home PSAs , are going to have to be owned by the ones in charge . Right now they still have somewhat of a pass but the piper is just sitting there, and he’s waiting to be paid .

I say the libs think they have a new play in their book now. You can bet they will pull out this shutdown play sometime in the future. They will run it again when they have 3rd and 23 and need a first down. Just like Coach Majors, everybody knew he would call a draw again on 3rd and forever .

lol.........Seems the center isn't where you perceive it to be.

I just know what “ CENTER” means , and believe that’s where we should strive to operate . Like any machine thats set up to operate the most efficient at “ top dead center “ . Unlike some I know the way you find the true center point is through personal responsibility and not through a nanny state , utopian ideology thats proven throughout history that it will fail every time you try to implement it .

Hundreds of COVID victims’ Bodies Still in refrigerated trucks on NYC waterfront

Bodies of hundreds of COVID-19 victims lay in refrigerated trucks on the Brooklyn waterfront waiting to be transported to Hart Island.

The bodies of hundreds of New Yorkers are still sitting in a refrigerated morgue on the Brooklyn waterfront more than a year after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the Big Apple.

The remains of about 750 people are in long-term storage in the specially designed disaster morgue that opened in April, a medical official told a City Council committee meeting on Wednesday.

Families of many of the dead still in storage have requested that the city bury their remains on Hart Island, the city’s potter’s field. The families of others have fallen out of contact with the city, Maniotis said.

I don't understand why ppl are angry about this? Are they holding out for another stimulus check?
If it's like our company a lot of people just don't want to go back into the office. It has nothing to do with the virus, they just want to stay at home. But obviously there's some jobs that don't really work at home. My wife's work had employees on the payroll into October that were doing nothing. They were paid full salary and benefits just to stay home. Now they're on unemployment and shockingly they're not super pumped about coming back. People have become institutionalized to these changes. I think part of the feet dragging on vaccines also has to do with this, people know if they get shot that moves you closer to a return to the office. We have a team of 8 and 2 will be returning to the office "full time" (I think there will still be at least 2 WFH days if not more) and the rest of us will telecommute.

Its not for everyone to be able to WFH...part of my job is to monitor our techs and nurses to make sure they are on the automated dialer and not playing...they get 2 minutes for wrap up and then they move on to the next patient..they are supposed to reach out via assist box if they need extra time..if they don't respond when we ask why they aren't calling...we log them out and they can't get back in without contacting us...we have some that have been with us for years and do great some you have to watch closely

Yeah that is one thing they're discussing, how do you balance career development between in office and out of office staff. The majority of our officers and upper level management have been going in to work this entire time and I think they'll be expected to continue that. But we're also going to have occupancy restrictions on conference rooms so how much face time will you actually get with higher ups? You may be in the office and still signing in to a Zoom.

Getting first Moderna shot tomorrow. I’d hoped to get a J&J, but they’re scarce at the moment. I’m off the next three days, so if it kicks my butt, I’ll be miserable at home.

I don't know. I think it's more how liberals are so easily scared. They seem to think if masks aren't worn all the time, all hell will break loose and we'll have more dead than we can bury. Liberals fear all kinds of things like global warming, Y2K, plastics, leaded gasoline...history is full of examples
