Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

That's interesting. If you're that confident, you must know something I don't. Because I would bet that they have a mandate coming for health care workers and military... and govt employees and contractors.
Those cases are in court right now. Just like influenza the most they could do was make me wear a mask. I’m stuck with a physician who won’t sign the paperwork even though he’s admitted I have serum sickness. The last hospital asked about my flu shot and I said it’s a mute point, we are masking for 12 hours. She was satisfied with that.

We will see how the court cases come out. I passed on my covid vaccine and the hospital didn’t say a word.

I have a new favorite coronbro(sis) reasoning.

My boss would let me ride in her car to or from a job site with masks, while there was no vaccine out for most people.

Now that she is vaccinated, she will not let the still unvaccinated me ride in her car anymore.

Apparently the risk has gone up, in her mind.

There is absolutely zero common sense in peoples reaction to this.

Do the hospitals require other vaccines?

lol.........
Reckless endangerment is a crime consisting of acts that create a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person. The accused person isn't required to intend the resulting or potential harm, but must have acted in a way that showed a disregard for the foreseeable consequences of the actions.
You’re insane if you are trying to tie not getting a vaccine to reckless endangerment

Hospitals “require” flu shots at a 90% level for team members because Obamacare put a 2 million$ penalty if they didn’t for Big Pharm to make its $. No one in hospital admin truly cares about the flu shot except for this penalty

What I am sharing in no way is an attempt to speak for NurseGoodVol. But health care workers tend to be very skeptical of health care emphasis being pushed from a top-down approach especially if that push is seen to be political rather than efficacious.
We are supposed to be evidence based. To me an emergency vaccine pushed out in under a year in no way is evidence based.

Coronabros ain't gonna like this

If COVID-19 Herd Immunity Is 'Not Attainable,' Does It Matter?

But the Times says widespread immunity, especially among Americans who are most vulnerable to the disease, still can be expected to dramatically reduce hospitalizations and deaths.
Are you wondering what the practical difference is? So am I.
I don't understand this handwringing. If the vaccine both makes it more difficult to get sick and greatly reduces the chances of having severe symptoms, what's the concern? If the virus continues to mutate into a more transmissible version that means it must also become more benign. It can't simultaneously become more deadly and also easier to get, because if the hosts are dying at too high a clip the virus can't be transmitted as efficiently.

Where the government have lost the people is when they first sold the idea that vaccines were the endgame. Vaccines would mean an end to social distancing, masks, lockdowns, etc. Now you're in that very endgame and surprise, you still need to do all the **** you were doing before. It's not some cathartic accomplishment. It's still a trudge of doom and gloom so what's the point of getting stuck? The people who said trust the scientists contradict themselves at every turn. It makes the vaccines seem ineffective, our government inept, or both.

but not for the before mentioned Polio or MMR?

thats been a major issue of mine from the start. they have not once had one hard metric. THIS is what we are trying to achieve. Even with herd immunity they won't explain fully, like if they are counting natural immunity in that. and if they aren't why aren't they.

I’m not responsible for others safety.
I think you are; at least to a reasonable degree.
Nope. You're not paying me, you're not my employee and you're not my guest so I have no responsibility to you whatsoever.
Maybe the context will help you out Ricky.

we can't lift restrictions until cases are sufficiently low...

I've warned you about working for a female.

Um absolutely not. Why is that liberals seem to have such a difficult time with the concept of personal accountability?
Why is it that conservatives are so obtuse to the fact that personal accountability encompasses the consideration of the safety and wellbeing of others. (I know)

because outside members have a relatively minimal impact on ones own safety in comparison to your own ability to impact your safety.

At least you don’t have to ride around with your idiot boss 🤷‍♂️ It’s the silver linings that matter.

Wear a mask when you walk into a restaurant and to your table. Then take it off to eat. Put it back on to leave. I guess you can only catch it while waking and not sitting and eating.

Or like Biden. Wears a mask outdoors walking to his podium, with nobody around him. Then takes mask off to speak. I guess again you can only catch it walking and not talking.

2 weeks to slow the spread.

Sturgis bike rally. Oh my God just wait 2 weeks the death rates will be out the roof. Didn’t happen.

Super Bowl. Tom Brady didn’t wear a mask. Many other fans didn’t either. Wait 2 weeks and there will be mass deaths. Didn’t happen.

Texas and Florida opening up fully. Oh man wait 2 weeks and those states will be the epicenter of the COVID deaths. Didn’t happen.

People need to wake up and see through this sham.

My titres from shots received in childhood including my varicella ( naturally acquired ) are high and have never receded. I supply proof yearly without shots.
My last shots were when I was 12 in 78.

I would imagine if they tested me for viruses I would have high titres on the variants.
Sorry I forgot to include what’s required
MMR
tDAP
Quantitative Tb
Varicella

Correct me if my logic is faulty, but would that not indicate the she thinks masks are more effective than vaccine? Or she does not want you farting in her car.
