Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

The "you need to vaccinate" to protect others is the strangest position to me. The vaccination works to provide you immunity to the disease. Your protection from a vaccination is independent from me regardless of my vaccination status or me carrying the disease. If you choose to not be vaccinated, then you have accepted the risks. If you cannot be vaccinated due to other health complications, it is imperative you guard yourself from the risks.

Perhaps people are confusing herd immunity with killing of the virus or bacteria from which the herd is immune.
It’s all just another statist control narrative. I really hope the citizens have been paying attention over the last year.

lol.........
Reckless endangerment is a crime consisting of acts that create a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person. The accused person isn't required to intend the resulting or potential harm, but must have acted in a way that showed a disregard for the foreseeable consequences of the actions.
Substantial = less than 1%?

Never has personal hygiene been used as justification for reckless endangerment.

lol.
If your are not reasonably responsible for another's safety, how can you be held responsible for unreasonably putting them in danger?

You may tie yourself in more knots than anyone I know due to your hatred of the reasonable and necessary constraints of societal living.
You wouldn't know 'reasonable' if it bit you in the ass.

I am in Hartsfield airport. Zero social distancing taking place. Many unmasked folks. People have had plenty of opportunity to get vaccinated. They have done so if they wanted to. If not, then that's their decision, time to go back to normal.
He clearly doesnt get around downtown, midtown. Or anywhere in Atlanta.

So the whole reckless endangerment schtick was just to stir up crap and be melodramatic?
Not at all. I said theoretically.
I've worn a mask into every store/restaurant/venue that required one and taken it off as soon as I left.
During football season, masks were required to be worn in some stadiums but not others (depended on the county)
I followed the rule in place.

Yea I am not following "rules" any longer. I will follow what private business asks me to do. I don't have to do business with them. So if I want to do business with them then I should respect them. Anything the Government wants out of this can go to hell.

Exactly what I do. Many local businesses still request masks and if it’s posted I will comply. I still keep masks in my truck for this.

They have a right to determine the terms for admission to their private property. And I have a right to do business elsewhere if I don’t agree with them. No need for any drama if people act like adults and respect each other’s rights.

And you came away with the impression the hoi polloi were wearing masks and keeping distance?
Also spent a lot of time in different areas of north GA. One thing was consistently true, the further away from Atlanta you got, the less likely people were to be wearing masks.

I'll continue to respect the wishes of private property/business owners but piss on the government. I hear that our POS county mayor is having a conniption fit because people are ignoring his mask mandate at the county building.

Given that different places have different rules they can't all be scientifically correct.

Therefore some of the rule following is nothing more than performance art.

Some of the rules, or lack thereof, were nothing more than performance art.

I travel alot on the weekend for sports. The difference between what I've seen in Atlanta between this past weekend and 6 weeks ago is amazing. We ate at the Panera at North Point both times. This past weekend there were no mask requirements and the place was packed. Very different from 6 weeks ago.

You said theoretically half way through the conversation. You forgot to cover yourself for wiggle room the first half.

Ah but those rules were given by our leaders and endorsed by the majority so doesn't that make them "right" even if they were not grounded in science? Further, is not following said rules a societal violation?
