Everyone isn't going to get the vaccine. If you are worried about get the vaccine. If not then you made your choice. By the end of this month everyone will have had the opportunity to get the vaccine. Open this up all the way.

I think a lot of people got a long hard look at how ugly our federal government has become. It has grown into a monstrosity that steps on the citizens liberty at every chance. And I’m mostly ok with what Texas did, at first I think they over reacted but they retracted and have mostly told the Feds to piss off. And the results speak for themselves. As do the results in MI, CA, and of course NY. If those morons re-elect those over stepping control freaks they deserve what they get.

It wasn’t just the monster otherwise known as the federal government, the evil goes all the way down to the city and county level.

Once again very happy with how Texas did there too. Get outside of Dallas, Houston, and Austin city limits and pretty much every sheriff and chief told even the state to piss off.

I was in Texas most of last week and was surprised how many people there were masked up. Even outside.

Tell me about it. I became eligible to start receiving my Social Security retirement benefit a couple months ago and applied for it in March. Got a form letter 2 weeks later saying “You must call this number within 10 days or we will ignore your request” but it got to my mailbox 10 days after the date on the darn thing! Anyway the next available day which was a Monday, I called that number and got through to someone, who looked up my case and said my application was suspected of being fraudulent and I had to mail a hard copy of my DL to the local SSA office (but don’t go there, it’s on skeleton staff and discourages visitors during the pandemic) and they would scan and send it to her. So I mailed it off the same day. That was 3 weeks ago, and I have heard nothing since.

It’s crazy. Last week I was in the Home Depot in Huntsville (TX) and could not believe all the mask wearers. Friday I went to a dermatologist to have a spot on my face looked at but as it was covered by my mask, I started to slip the mask down so the Dr. could see it and she barked at me, “You can’t lower your mask until I tell you to!” Ok Dr. Karen...

Guess it depends where you are where I’m at there are way more unmasked than masked an outside of the burbs they look at you funny if you’re wearing a mask 🤷‍♂️

Home Depot is one of the places that still has the Masks Required signs but they are not enforced by anybody in the store. Per Abbott’s directive they are not allowed to require them I believe but they can request them. Nobody anywhere has told me to mask up and at my Dr office they were pretty laid back about the whole situation now too

That’s why I was surprised to see so many of our fellow Texans wearing masks even in Huntsville. Even in the Tractor Supply which is next door to the Home Depot.

I was at Home Depot today and nobody was wearing a mask other than the employees.
