Trey has blood clots. Enough said. He’s first round talent but there is a reason for not being drafted so far. Chris Bosh retired because of it.
He doesn’t have clots presently or for almost 3 years. Not the same situation. Both my late and present wife had the condition and it was my opinion that he should move on. He did his own thing doing his own research and utilizing doctors advice and has been proven right. Belichick spent a second or third a few seasons ago on an OL with recurrent blood clots and he was a bust...but not because of the condition. Trey gets into a camp and concentrates on his business and he’ll be a mainstay imo. To your point, he’s an impressive character and hard worker, so if he’s simply not good enough, he’ll still be fine.

Will friend couldn’t even get Trey Smith drafted.

Bryce Thompson came in and had a better true freshman season than Jaycee Horn. Never developed. Won’t go drafted while Horn transformed into a top 10 pick.

The last staff was so pathetic.

This is utterly embarrassing.

But like another poster said.... you have to be encouraged by how many ucf guys are getting drafted.

Hopefully we can start sending our VFLs into the league soon.

Or he bought into the propaganda hook, line, and sinker that Covid was killing 20 year olds everywhere.

Maybe partially but also think he was offended by the JT Daniels pickup. Then bought all the hype media was feeding his head despite that he sucked vs good competition. He got bad advice. Maybe he thought he would be exposed in SEC

Especially off of a defense that was... Well historically terrible.

Yeah, I wasn’t scared when he came to UGA

Bryce couldn’t stay healthy last two yrs which prevented him from being able to showcase his elite return skills. He touched it out on iffy knees and is tough as nails. Bryce issue also isn’t talent. It’s the skeletons in his closet from HS and early at TN that got swept under rugs

No it doesn’t matter what team Trey goes too. He will easily make roster and eventually start. Even being drafted 6t/7thrd will have meaning to him to fulfill his promises to his mom.
And again not really. Trey is a road grader on the O line. He is a much better fit for SF or TEN than he would be for somewhere like LAC that slings it 40 times a game. Baltimore would be a good landing spot too because he moves pretty well.

Trey will have a chance to play in the NFL. Teams just don’t want to count anything uncertain against cap after a year of falling revenues. Not a lot of money will be available to offset any losses with vet contracts this year.

Also, it gives him some ability to pick his landing spot.

He was playing with one arm for majority of season
I know that...I wasn't meaning to disparage him. I was making an honest observation...he did not play this year at anywhere near the level he did the year before...There were probably legitimate reasons for it, but I think that fact when combined with the clot problem is the reason for his fall...it isn't fair to him, he is better than almost every OG that has been picked and we know it.
