I rode the Bullet trains a lot in Japan. They are very nice - but had limited routes and used tunnels and bridges to straighten things out. Tokyo to Hiroshima was all Bullet train, but if you went say to someplace like Tsuruga on the NW coast you had to change to other lines around Nagoya - much slower and a lot of curves and elevation changes. Those were fun days with my train schedule book and a map with Japanese characters so I could work between the two and schedule my own trips.

Good question. Talk of that just seems to have died. There could be a future for that, but I'd bet the fare wouldn't turn out as favorable as people hope.

Yep. I roll my eyes when bullet trains are brought up here. We’d have to lay down completely new track to accommodate those speeds safely. No crossings, minimal curves, rigidly maintained track settling and rail consistency.

Biden heckled before coughing through car-crash drive-in rally in Georgia

For almost 40-seconds, a confused-looking Biden searched for his face covering, rifling through a book and looking on his podium as he said to wife Jill "I can't find my mask", who helped his hunt.

He then told then crowd: "Looking for my mask. I'm in trouble."

After a somewhat lengthy search for his mask, Biden then pulled it out of his pocket before cracking on with his speech.

Many of the points the president made at the rally were similar to those he made the night before during his address to Congress.

Joe Biden Flying Thousands of Border Crossers into U.S. Without Negative Coronavirus Test, Photo ID

President Joe Biden’s administration is flying thousands of border crossers into the United States interior on domestic, commercial flights without requiring them to test negative for the Chinese coronavirus or show proof of identity.

Federal data revealed to the House Committee on Homeland Security shows the Biden administration put about 7,200 border crossers on flights into the U.S. interior between February 19 to April 22, Rep. August Pfluger’s (R-TX) office confirmed to Breitbart News.

Those 7,200 border crossers put on flights at 10 U.S. border airports by the Biden administration were allowed to bypass photo identification requirements, the standard rules all American citizens are required to abide by.

Likewise, the border crossers are not required to show proof of a negative coronavirus test despite the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently confirming that border crossers in their custody are testing positive for coronavirus.

They are building a train from Orlando thru Brevard county down to Palm Beach I believe. Not a high speed as far as I know, and the last I heard it won't even stop over here by the Space center. And I'll bet the fares will be ridiculous. The thing is, rental cars are cheap in Florida so it will have to compete with that.

Ain’t no way he got 81 million votes. He!!, he can’t even get half the regular amount of people to attend his press conferences and only a fourth of the people watched it on TV. But that may be because all those dead voters can’t get cable.

It’s crazy. YouTube had to disable the dislike button on the White House official page since he came into office. Every channel streaming the other night had a ton more down votes than likes. Somehow we’re suppose to believe a lifetime failure that can’t string together a coherent thought received the most votes in history though.

Border Patrol nabs Gang Members, including MS-13, attempting to enter US as part of migrant wave

A Border Patrol sector chief this week issued a snapshot of the number of gang members potentially coming into the U.S. as part of the migrant wave surging toward the southern border, amid concerns that members of vicious gangs like MS-13 could be getting into the U.S.

"5 gang members in 7 days," Laredo Sector Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak tweeted.
