This article is damage control for a false story that Fox News ran with over the weekend, which claimed that the Biden Administration had made it part of their climate change initiative to ask Americans to stop eating red meat. John Roberts has since admitted on air that the story was a lie.

Fox News also ran with another false story this week, first reported by The New York Post, which claimed that migrant children at the border were being given copies of Vice President Kamala Harris' children's book as part of a so-called "welcome kit". The New York Post reporter, Laura Italiano, who authored that story, admitted on Tuesday that the story was a lie which she had been forced to write. She has quit over the fiasco. This was her statement on Twitter:

"An announcement: Today I handed in my resignation to my editors at the New York Post. The Kamala Harris story - an incorrect story I was ordered to write and I failed to push back hard enough against - was my breaking point." - Laura Italiano, formerly of The New York Post

It has been a rough week for Rupert Murdoch-owned, right-wing media. Both The New York Post and Fox News are owned by Murdoch. This is also a very typical week for right-wing media when it comes to factual accuracy and bias.

But please, Fox News.... tell us more about how the mainstream media is biased and unfair to Republicans with the publication of fake news stories.

Been watching a lot of CNN lately. They just had a commentator say “It’s nice to see President Biden take such pleasure in exercising his power.”

Yep another stupid piece of pandering faux legislation that actually hurts small business.

Nobody outside of cafeteria or custodial staff makes under $15 an hour at a government contractor. And they sub those services out to control costs. We did a long time ago.
