If I read correctly, I thought all counties in TN were told they have through May to wrap up the mask mandate. It didn’t sound like they could legally extend it.

This has signs of being another Italy. But instead of an older and aging population, the aggravating factors will be sanitation and limited medical resources.

It's sad and a tragedy, but the virus is going to do its virus thing.

I hope you are correct. I could be wrong, but thought knox, Davidson, and the other 2 big counties operated independently on this issue.

Just a quick scan of the worldometer statistics will show they are just now seeing what the rest of the world saw a year ago. This is more likely the scale of what happened in China, but we just weren’t privy to the media coverage.

4 admissions to McMom's hospital yesterday with Covid. These are the first admissions in weeks. They've reduced their covid rooms by 60%.
The 4 admits were two couples. Both sets of couples have all the comorbidity issues which are commonly known. No one is on a vent. Everyone being managed rather well without the need for invasive measures.
Prepare to hear the media tout increases in cases with the Gov's new directives.

What the media says: 400% increase in hospital Covid cases over the past two weeks.

Once again, Biden and the CDC are late to the party. They're "giving us permission" to be outside with a few people w/o a mask if we're vaccinated. No crap Joe! We already knew that and have been doing that. Now tell MLB to get off our back and let's go to a baseball game sans the mask. I've had it with these losers...

I watched him. The disconnect is alarming. And I even watched Sanjay Gupta after. Even he was having to blunt his comments because it was clear he thought the recommendations didn’t go far enough. He kept saying “we’ve known outdoor transmission is low for many months.”

If they really want us to listen, they gotta do better than this. They could've come out with this after Christmas. I'd like to say something like "if they want to retain any credibility..." but it's too late. They've lost all credibility. There's nothing to retain at this point
