President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

I think its the word 'privilege' thqt gets you boys so upset.

If it was called "white experience" you would have no problem understanding it. But having said that, the experience itself is a privilege so the term is accurate

Thanks Louder. Arabs invented math, literally. Any and all innovation has math as its core.

And then probably due to Islamic thinking they went to nothing ... until oil and the need for it came along. The point you have to take from history is that growth happens when conditions are right for independent thinking and development, and it doesn't take much from institutions like government and religion to stifle it. The other point (for good or bad) is that nomadic cultures don't create nations and progress like we've seen largely since the industrial revolution.

Privilege comes from the Latin privilegium, meaning a law for just one person, a benefit enjoyed by an individual or group beyond what is available to others. *Any right, immunity, or benefit enjoyed only by a person or group beyond the advantages of most.
other words for privilege
  • advantage.
  • authority.
  • benefit.
  • exemption.
  • freedom.
  • license.
  • prerogative.
  • right.

Didn’t you know math is racist and solving math problems are now subjective?

Wait! Does this mean we can't discuss how many frat boys or whatever it takes to screw in a lightbulb, and how they are only 25% as smart as the average bear or something?

Guess who will be screwed the most?.... yep.... the poor and lower middle class when gas prices increase and the cost to heat their homes.....

The best way to view fuel cost is to see it as a tax because you can't get away from it. Fuel cost and taxes are like friction to every economic process. It's foolish in the extreme to ever see high energy cost as a positive factor ... of course libs and rabid environmentalists fall into the foolish category, and I'm not too sure about investors who would drive energy costs up for a buck even though they are cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

Could be they’re planning to give everyone making under 400k a free electric car and free electricity.

It's just a damn good thing that electricity simply flows out of a plug and doesn't have to be created somewhere. I can't wait to see the collision between stagnant power generation growth due to falling demand from loss of industry and the demand created by electric vehicles if the nut cases get their way. Last winter in TX will look like child's play.

I also like how e-vehicles are being called “zero emission” and most people believe it, yet more of our power still comes from combustion of fossil fuels than anything else.

Nobody talks about distribution line losses as well.

I'm not even sure how many engineering disciplines really study both thermodynamics and system dynamics anymore - neither seem to exist anywhere outside engineering. Another few years and we'll have our own version of alchemists chasing perpetual motion. Transmission losses as well as losses from one type of energy are the monsters lurking under the bed; but you'd never know it to hear politicians, environmentalists, and other "enlightened leaders" speak and plan.
