All Thangs Pussum and Chad Thread

ah, the assist handle is the one on the opposite side. oh well, I just cancel it and get the other one.
The assist handle is a Godsend for heavy cast ironware. It’s on all my skillets over 8 inches.

And to think that my mom used to make popcorn in an 11” cast iron skillet, shaking it over the burner for ten minutes. No wonder her golf short game was so good.

I normally spot them but admittedly have hit a couple. Mint is also spreading in my back yard. Those little bastards take over like nothing else. The air smells like spearmint gum when you mow over the plant.
Consider the lowly lemon balm. A member of the mint family, it is indestructible and really can’t be eradicated. (Read in Rod Sterling’s voice.)

I like bee balm (hummingbird magnets), but they are in the mint family and get those running roots on them and are very invasive. I have to thin mine out once they start.
Mine are red like this.

Back in the day, don’t we all have a back in the day? I loved bee balm, but I had to learn quickly to control the fast growing pretty and smell good plants. I miss gardening, like cooking, therapeutic.
