Odds they try to bring back the caravan?

There wasn't much internal support for it beyond Fulmer. The coaches didn't want to do it. Unless the new football staff pushes for it, there won't be much demand to resurrect it. I think the O&W game will be a temperature check for the program. If the turnout is good, they might do more.

So on a lesser note, a boy that took my daughter to homecoming a few years ago decided that he would say some mean things about my daughter on social media. My daughter came home in tears. I came home from work as my wife is talking to the boy’s mother and getting no where. While my daughter is showing me the social media rudeness, my wife looks at me getting riled up.
She asks to speak to the boy’s dad. Dude gets on the phone with my wife. I hear her say that she is the only thing standing between me and the dad. That the boy has 60 minutes to erase everything from social media and post an acceptable apology or my wife will walk away and let me handle it. I had met son and dad and let’s just say that they were “petite.” As I was walking over to my wife, I heard him say “what’s he going to do? Call the police?” My wife’s response “ My husband is from Memphis Tennessee. They never call the police. He will handle this issue personally.”

Years ago I worked in the home respiratory and medical equipment industry. Had a regular appt. with a fellow near Auburntown Tn. He and his wife lived on a farm off the main road and he had lots of high end tractors, implements, etc sitting near his house. Him and his wife took several trips for 2 or 3 days at a time and he always told me to let myself in the back door, check his equipment and leave all supplies on the kitchen table. I asked him one time if they weren't worried about leaving their house unlocked and all his stuff getting stolen etc since they lived so far from any quick police or emergency response folks and he simply replied, "we never have an issue like that around here. We take care of things ourselves." And yes he was an old military guy

One thing that is looking up is the Preds. They are fun to watch again. They were hustlin their arses off last night and really seem to care for each other.

13-3-0 in their last 16.....scored 7 or more goals 3 times in the last 11 games....and they would've beaten the defending Cup champion twice in four nights if their goal tender hadn't been amazing!

Still think we need to wait and see. I have to trust Heupel and his staff at this point to put the best QB on the field.

I think they have no idea who the QB is going to be this fall. All QBs other than Salter are getting rotational reps, and the coaches are evaluating what they can do and where they are in their development. They all look good some days and not good other days. The lack of consistency is an issue and having to go back to fundamentals with guys they thought were further along means they're not getting the QB play they hoped for right now. While everybody hoped to come out of spring with a clear leader, it doesn't look likely.

Had my second Pfizer last Wednesday. Mild headache and fatigue that I milked for two extra days so my wife would not ask me to do anything.

Lmao, this thought strongly crossed my mind bc my wife had a fever, aches, and the whole nine yards from the 2nd dose and I thought she was milking it a bit too. I honestly looked forward to a day that I had a good excuse to not do much.

Really? You see anger in my responses? I’m pretty surprised. I feel like just about every opinion I give is apologetically stated that it’s Just where I see things heading and it’s very early for any definitive conclusions

That’s not entirely accurate..... I use to go watch the practices a lot during the 90’s..... they did use to guys to practice with but they were no where near the cream of the crop. They also didn’t pick guys with much height or at least they didn’t during the times I went and watched....They still continue to practice with male players.... I went to the opening of basketball when the women practiced against the male players and the guys looked like extras from revenge of the nerds.

I have seen live practices in the 80s and I agree with regards to height. The practice teams that I saw had players who were skilled, though it was a collection of individuals who did not practice together otherwise as a team. It was far from revenge of the nerds. I am not saying these guys are college level players, but they were likely good players in high school.

Not true. I had Covid then had the Pfizer vaccine and had no issues. I should also mention that I didn’t have any issues when I had Covid either except loss of smell.

Not with his current mechanics. He has a lot of work to put in. Definitely needs a redshirt year.

A player that would fit Huepel’s offense perfectly is Arch Manning. Hopefully we can convince him to come here eventually.

This character has 28 plates on the leg press, not even hitting 90 degree knee flexion, let alone full range of motion, lower back rounding so much he’s hovering off the seat, hard lock outs at the top... adding plates every moment.

I’m surprised people wanted the Johnson and Johnson vaccine especially since it isn’t an mRNA vaccine which means it isn’t proven against multiple strains like the Pfizer and Moderna

Now, it has a metallic taste to it and just does not taste the way that I remember. It makes me wonder if I had a non-symptomatic case of COVID. I guess I will never know. Carry on.
