pretty sure every practice type has caused injuries for 10 yearsWonder if new practice tempo style causing some injuries. Seems like a number of guys limited grows.
Seen mention that Small, Baron, Blakely, Wideman , Hyatt, Slaughter, Omari were some of the names limited on side or not on field as they work out lingering issues for camp or scrimmage. I’m curious to what has had Hyatt and Wideman so limited since start of practice. You seem them like nothing is wrong walking around in videos. Can only guess that they have some kind of muscle pull injury or something or maybe got behind in covid protocols
the biggest mistake in tenn football in decades. GS would have us rocking and rolling right now
Instead I rarely even check the football news because Tenn football has been destroyed by fans and boosters pretending they know best. An irrelevant program and destined to stay that for a foreseeable future
sad

Schiano would have been a way better football choice than Pruitt. Hands down. I'll never understand how some people justified a first time ever head coach at Tennessee. We play Bama UF UGA every year. There is no way you can learn on the job in that situation.I think looking back Schiano would be been way better than Pruitt and I never thought that would have been true.
I totally missed that one.
Bahama John would still be AD and Schiano would still be coaching. Probably too 15-20 recruiting and 8-10 wins a year.
We could do worse. Oh wait ...
It was justified because no one that was not a first year head coach wanted the job considering Schiano and the press and the shape of our roster and the fact that we play AL, GA, FL every year.Schiano would have been a way better football choice than Pruitt. I just didn't want a scummy guy heading the program, so I'd still have chosen Pruitt over Schiano.
We could have easily pulled a non P5 coach by tripling his salary. Powers that be genuinely thought Pruitt would be a good HC, no way every mid major HC turned us down and we just had to hire Pruitt. It was justified because no one that was not a first year head coach wanted the job considering Schiano and the press and the shape of our roster and the fact that we play AL, GA, FL every year.
Have to consider we were not far from CBJ getting us almost to Atlanta, and the thought was we needed a coach with experience with the big boys, especially SEC big boys, like GA got with CKS instead of going down to places like Cincinnati or worse places like CDD came from. Based on what Pruitt had done as DC, he really should have been at least as good as CKS. Now we know....We could have easily pulled a non P5 coach by tripling his salary.
