This line sound familiar???

I think I read the damn exact quote today

“Absolutely not, because in only four months, Kiffin has ultimately changed the entire culture of Tennessee Football. He brings in a culture of openness and visibility.”

Pruitt seemed to hate everything and never went out of his way to do anything to gain fan support. He just pissed everyone off. So self centered. We got a HC that at least is trying to show that he is happy to be here and acting like a real HC. Just makes it easier to like the guy and hope he becomes a legend here in these parts.
I think Pruitt was in way over his head from the git, he knew it and didn’t what to admit it out loud or to himself, long before most of us fans wanted to admit or face it. It’s a shame and was a breaking point to a lot of fans, me including. 😞. I can still be counted in the sunshine pusher category and carry my Vol fan card with pride, this is going to be a long butttttttt, I’m having a hard time to have much interest in football. (That’s rough for me).

That’s 110% true

It’s also true he’d still be hear and we’d be winning before and excited about the future
I still don’t know if that’d be the case (I’ve been wrong too many times to say that with certainty). I don’t like the stuff he did at Tampa and though I think he did a great job at Rutgers, that’s not any kind of indication of success at the next level as we’ve seen time and time again.

I am praying and hoping that CJH, #1 because I love Tennessee and #2 I want my 11 year old to enjoy Tennessee football. He’s got far and away the best resume of any coach we’ve brought in previously and he seems to have a no ego approach that I really like. He’s doing all the right stuff early on IMO (under very difficult circumstances). I believe if we all get on board and show this man, these kids, and this program that we are unified behind them, I think that will help push this thing in the right direction.

Maaaaaan, it’s going to be hard to not buy in completely with Heupel. Guy seems like he could be what we’ve been waiting for. Really excited for him and this new staff. Sure hope they win games.
It's really hard not to like him. Man, I sure hope he wins here.

Good post. Well said

I think looking back Schiano would be been way better than Pruitt and I never thought that would have been true.

I totally missed that one.

Bahama John would still be AD and Schiano would still be coaching. Probably too 15-20 recruiting and 8-10 wins a year.

We could do worse. Oh wait ...

Wtf kipp adams with a Crystal ball for Daniel Martin to Vandy. Confidence 2 but still random. Wasn’t this kid supposed to be Elite? Did he have a bad year to be considering Vandy over his initial elite offers. Or is Barton got Vandy playing shade ball now?

Love how Inky is narrating the videos.

Loved seeing the former Vols being welcomed and feeling like they can be a part of the program. Beyond astounded that that has not always been done. Also loved seeing all the kids around and the players seemed to really be enjoying themselves. Easy to cheer for this coach unlike the last 2.

You mean last 3? Dooley was the worst in that aspect...even tho he started the VFL program.
