I’m not sure we actually know what we really have. At this point, I’ll take a team/culture that plays with passion, unity and a semblance of being coached well....glaring holes or not.

Right there with you. Heupel looked at this mess and decided to coach here anyway, monetary reasons or not. I'll stand behind him and what's left of the squad and cheer for them with optimism. No expectations other than like 1-2 wins minimum.

RH to Mike is awesome as long as the doesn't have to cover anybody, like in the 4-2-5. In a 3-3-5 he would have less responsibility for man coverage from the Mike. So he would be the guy that would roll up from Mike to the pass rush position. Could be they want to see if he has the potential to be the Vol version of Micah Parsons. Count me as impressed if that is the case.

A lot can happen with the roster between now and September. All they need are two starting quality LB's and a couple of backups who can play to cover the position in the 4-2-5. There are two large RB's that may not see playing time at RB who were really strong LB's in HS. Are they wanting to play or do they just want to suit out and run through the T? Just sayin...

Let things play out and watch for thinking outside the box from the new coaching staff.
