This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. He is risen!

One of the most exciting basketball games ever played with both teams giving all they had. Wish it could have been the final. Suggs is that guy.

Zags are for real. Scoring options at every position and great passing team. Low turnovers by both despite the pace. Cronin is a heckuva coach and the UCLA players are special, especially Juzang with that fade. Hope the final comes close to that game.

The sun has come up on our Vols. An era of winning has begun in all major sports.
Seemed like an unusually high percentage of shots were dropping in that game. Ucla did a really nice job in that 12 to 15 foot range. Looked like they hit over 80% of those

Harsh reality of the last staff. Great defensive minds that created a scheme that was complicated enough the players never understood it fully. No one above Pruitt to tell him to go with something less complex. Had the bodies, but Pruitt and Ansley put in a.crazy complicated system especially for secondary.

I think it takes buy in from all parts. Top, down. If you lose 1 or 2 staff, game over. Look at the turnover. That says it all.

No one ever had time to get players right. Missed the Spring last year. Had Pruitt not been cheating, and, not lost way they did. Prolly still be here.

"Asked my date to meet me at the gym, but she never showed up. Guess the two of us aren’t going to work out."

That was the only game I have tuned into this entire tourney and that was worth it.
EPIC.

Fell asleep at halftime already thinking this was the best game I'd seen in years.

Then woke up and watched 2nd half at 9am...toe to toe 2nd half, everybody has alligator blood, clutch shot after clutch shot, couldn't believe what I was seeing. Neither team would give an inch. Then the end of regulation - a charge or blocking? So close......then OT... UCLA down by 5 with 50 seconds...hit a 3...get a stop...Juzang misses...grabs own rebound...TIES IT...NO TIMEOUT BY FEW WITH 3 SECONDS?!? WHAT IS HE DOI---OH MY GOD!!!

Never been so pumped screaming at 9am running around my house like a nut 😂

Exactly what it was. I kept thinking how that was not normally a winning formula...but that's March Madness for ya. They had every chance to win even with their center shooting 15 footers lol.

25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,
26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25, ESV)
someone in the house was cutting onions during the Sermon this morning. Gets me every time.

Drew update:

Radiation and chemo is over...
Drew’s cancer has not shrunk. It remains inoperable. He’s pretty feeble but focused. Fluid on his brain. Possible the shunt has malfunctioned. They are moving back home. Deflated obviously. But have felt as if this was the expectation all along. My brother and SIL will introduce various palliative care and unorthodox treatments. There’s still some fight to be had. And he is willing.

Please pray for my sweet nephew. And keep your eyes fixed on Jesus as we approach Good Friday. One week. Hey, but it didn’t end there... did it?
Prayers and positive thoughts for Drew and family.
