Recruiting Forum Football Talk III

Just a few years ago there was an upset in the top ten about every week. The last few years the only question is which 4 of 6 teams are in the playoffs. It's almost as if the refs protect the undefeated teams in their league because they want their conference to have someone in the playoffs. I'd rather watch the bowl games than the playoffs. Especially last year when I hated all 4 teams.

Agreed. My brother-in-law is a Bama fan (nice guy; not a jerk). He says he's stopped watching the regular season games because they are boring. He tunes in towards the end and watches the SEC championship and playoff games. He actually thinks the sport is uncompetitive and less fun than it used to be. I agree!

I personally think Bama should have an asterisk next to their name for every title they won in the playoff era because I think the system is broken and is biased in the favor of the teams at the top (Bama; Clemson; Ohio State, etc.).

Where you at #scoopcity? Ty de-committed.
Lol what are you talking about?

I try not to blame people for mis understanding my posts because it probably just means I wasn't clear enough, but damn. That was a long ass post about how recruiting works for top athletes and you are fixating on one sentence. It's weird.

No reason to argue with somebody that can't even read a calendar though 🤷‍♂️

Heupel has the offense to win games, it's proven. He's got actual HC experience unlike Pruitt, he knows how to manage a team. He's been in the SEC. He knows he it all starts up front in this league. 4 and 5 star guys in offense will be swarming here before too long. Defense doesn't have to be perfect, but it will be aggressive attacking and fun to watch. Looking at the schedule, we should and WILL win 8 games this year.

Yeah I know it’s April fools. Just giving you a hard time, kind of slow around here.

Gonna have to push back on this one. AtlVol is a troll who had info. He posted in riddles and exaggerated just to rock the boat.

With that said I thought it was entertaining. It's a shame people get butthurt and have to take everything so seriously. But the response was totally predictable based on how he was posting around here.

Personally I don't think he left because people were mean to him. He was wrong one time in a pretty big way and didn't feel like coming in here and defending what he had said. Understandable. Personally, I couldn't care less if he is right or wrong on stuff. He isn't an elected official and doesn't have to defend **** as far as I'm concerned. I do think his whole thing in January and February was entertaining though. Hence the Avi.

We will have to agree to disagree. A troll doesn't do what he did for families that post in here. He helped a lot of people. Trolls don't do that.

This is on the way to be one of the most logical (and less emotional) posts you've ever had, therefore:

APRIL FOOL'S!!!!

Yeah I love any insider info, but it's always "subject to change" imo. Unless the insider is the person who ultimately makes the decision then it's never a 100% sure thing.

DW himself could come here and say "I'm hiring Jon Gruden" well if Gruden turns him down then is DW a liar? Ultimately when multiple people are involved it's still not certain to happen.

Hubbs:

In speaking with some this morning, the legal case against freshman quarterback Kaidon Salter has been dismissed with prejudice, meaning there is no legal matter for Salter at all. The legal case with him is completely gone.
Student conduct on campus still has to resolve things but from a legal standpoint there is no case against Salter.
