It bothers me more than it does the flu just because my uncles life will probably never be the same, nor will he ever be on a Friday family zoom call again. That first hand account changes everything. I know more people that have had COVID than flu.

Just by reading in the zone, perspectives are different on both. I guess I can be fortunate to just have to carry a inhaler with me now.

I took my mom out yesterday for nearly 2 1/2 hours, visiting a garden center, getting toffee pecan ice cream at Culver’s, and just kind of cruising around in the car (the garden center wiped her out.)

I checked my calendar, and this was the first time that she has been off the grounds (building and gardens) since March 11, 2020, 379 days. Actually, longer, since I don’t think we had gone anywhere for several weeks before that (no masks back then.)

Started having symptoms last Friday. Worked.
Congestion beyond belief
Sore Throat
Cough
Saturday was no better. Worked.
Sunday worse. Off
Monday added a fever. Throat no longer sore. Worked half day.
Tuesday add joint pain. I can breath. Cough mostly gone. No fever. Went and got tested. Off.
Wednesday sore throat back and forth. Fever up a skosh. Test results were negative. Off.
Off tomorrow.
Back to work Friday.

My annual bout with bronchitis. This year it hit me harder than usual.

HBPW has it too. Just not as bad. Thank goodness!
