Was fortunate enough to get to go to practice yesterday with an old friend from ATL. Needless to say we are going to get the doors blown off of us by the vast majority of the SEC teams we face next year. Could be a very hard road to watch for the coming future. Hopefully this staff can get some players in house that will be able to help fill some very noticeable gaps.
We are fortunate that you’re always wrong. Enjoy your old ass Porsche

Yeah, they are Super Cinderella. It's the VOLS way.
Next year it'll be the same. We will lose to the elite 8 bound squad, assuming we even get in. I suspect the football program will then find out we get the death penalty. Pretty standard stuff

70.00 a month seems high. Most cable companies have set top and surcharges. $70 out the door isnt bad comparitively but, id still rather pay a la carte.

You might get a one or two year contract at a nice monthly rate with a cable or satellite. But my bill had jumped to $200. We pay $70 for Toutube TV and $50 for internet.

Amazing that he would expect to see an all world team in practice 1 with a new staff that literally has no middle LBs to practice defense with. Perhaps he should slap his buddy he was with for turning in receipts that led to mass exodus

Anyone have Xfinity? I just moved and got Xfinity Xfi for internet. Do I need a cable box to get cable or can I just upgrade and use the Xfinity Stream App?

Most providers allow access behind a pay wall on Apple TV or Roku in lieu of cable boxes. they also bombard you with their marketing. Yes ive had Xfinity. Depending on head end, its average. Customer service is horrendous. But theyre #1.

Disclaimer: This is optimistic, and I feel like this with every coach...

I think We’ve got our coach but it is going to take longer to get traction than we want. Fortunately AD White knows this well and is patient enough.

It may look like
4-8
6-6
5-7 Recruiting uptick, but not really contributing largely till year 6...
7-5
8-4

...
Nick: bingo! I actually think the trend will look something like that. We all want a hockey stick that shoots straight up to championships by years 4 & 5, but that’s just not happening no matter who the coach is.

I’m thinking a slow, steady climb with championship caliber squads maybe towards the end of the decade.
😳

Ladies and gentlemen, Vols of all ages, please gaze upon the above prime examples of untreated BVS. These poor individuals have been beaten for so long that they don’t see the difference in our new coaching staff.

The new coaching staff is different from our previous groups. They are used to getting more from the players through developing, teaching and I dare say scheming to the strength of the current players.

As my only needed exhibit, I present the Missouri Tigers. Look at the offense pre Heupel and then year one of Heupel. Extraordinary differences abound!

He has a dynamic flexible offense. He will scheme to the strength of the current players. He will scheme to the weaknesses of his opponents and equally as important, teach these very players what to look for quickly and simply to move the ball and score points.
Furthermore The Heupel has assembled a defensive staff that can also simplify the defensive schemes and use their strengths against opponents. This fall, you will see a defense not only be able to defend the slant, but jump the routes and actually intercept the ball! Who here amongst us is not willing to believe that The Garner will bring us a defensive line worthy of our praise.

The future will be bright for our Volunteers with this staff.

But hear ye and feel it in your very bones. There will be winning in Neyland again this very Fall! This team will look radically different from the last decade.

Throw off the mantle of BVS!
Embrace the Hype! Glory in the transformation! Who’s with me?

Man, that look some work. You must not have been as busy today.

I'm in. Heup! Go Vols!

10+ point losses that were not overly competitive. Last years team arguably was one of the worst in program history. Tied the record for consecutive losses at 6, with most or maybe all those by 10+ points. Didn’t even remotely put a scare in any of our “traditional” rivals.

It wasn't one of the worst teams in program history. The record just looked worse because there weren't any non-conference cream puffs padding it. In the last 10 years UT has finished with a lower SEC win % than last year's team 5 times. 1-7 in 2011, 1-7 in 2012, 2-6 in 2013, 0-8 in 2017, and 2-6 in 2018.

Lincoln Riley not signing off on his QB transferring.

@de1conley this “leader of men” sounds like a spiteful little bit*h

Who cares maybe he didn't agree with where he was going like a coach that was once here or he told the kid up front that he wouldn't and the kid did it anyways so he's teaching him a lesson. Either way worry about your own issues on your own team and stop trying to critique everywhere else because of your misery because you don't know the details just like I don't.

Bitterness abounds, saying I don’t know would have worked without all the td;lr.
