President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

if this is a substitute for other taxes I'll listen

if this is an additional tax then GTFO

also, could be a regressive tax

You have to wonder how the moron plans to gather the data. Mileage police to check your car and see if you reported the mileage properly on you taxes. Perhaps they plan to install trackers so they can keep tabs on your car. Or maybe they'll have a whole new bureaucracy requiring that you do a mileage inspection every year. How the hell did this idiot ever make it through HS? The tax on every gallon of gas we buy is a tax by the mile with a kicker for less fuel efficient cars. It's hard to believe this level of stupid is supposedly home grown and working for this country.

He said it was being considered by the Administration as an option. There are no concrete proposals until next week for the infrastructure proposal.

As far as campaign Pete is concerned, he supported replacing the gas tax with VMT. Especially since auto manufacturers are moving to phase out gas powered vehicles by 2035.

He's mentally deficient even for a moron. I'd say what I really think, but you'd whine ... again.

Yes, you are correct. Which was why campaign Pete wanted to get rid of the gas tax, so the VMT would not be an extra tax.

Sec. Pete speaks for the administration now, and all they have said is VMT is something they are looking at to fund the bill. I don't think it will be proposed; I'm like 95% sure Biden did not support a VMT during the primary, so I don't expect him to change on that. I could be wrong, that seems like 850 years ago lol.

He wasn’t gonna ban fracking or raise taxes on ANYONE making less than 400k either.

Pretty sure I've never "whined" about anything on here. Unless voicing an opinion is whining, which I guess I've been guilty of a few times.

Cuellar: I’m Getting More Info about Border from Mexico Than White House

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America Reports,” Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) said that he is still getting more information from Mexico about what’s having at the border than he is from the White House.

Co-host Sandra Smith asked, [relevant exchange begins around 4:00] “[Y]ou said you are getting more information on what is happening in these facilities — your picture provided — you’re getting more information from Mexico about what’s happening at our southern border than you are from the White House? Is that still the case?”

Cuellar responded, “It’s still the case. And remember, very straightforward, I’m a Democrat, the administration’s Democrat, and basically, I mean, that’s the truth. I mean, I got contacts in Mexico and in Central America. I know what messages are being heard over there and there [are] two messages…that are being heard over there. So, yes, it’s messaging and getting information from my friends in Mexico.”

It’s like you get a notification when someone criticizes your boy

My guess would be a new bureaucracy. It will probably have it’s own police force, too.

LOL 'replacing' a tax. That is roll on the ground funny. And gas powered vehicles will still be around in 2035
