President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Probably should be in the Amateur Hour thread but:

Joe asserted today that the surge is no different than the surge that occurs every year (he's wrong but I digress).

If that is true, why wasn't his administration prepared for it?

Why did they not have policies in place for what he claims is an entirely predictable event?

Why has he delayed naming key nominees to HHS and DHS that would handle this entirely predictable event?

Why are they still trying to develop policies to deal with this entirely predictable event?

Why do they have to ask for volunteers in agencies to go help at the border for this entirely predictable event?

Oh, is this the second surge in Texas that EL has been alluding to? I get so mixed up.

These questions are likely rhetorical, but the answer is because he’s FOS.

Democrats are overplaying their hand imo. They count on Biden taking the fall for ridiculous policy at the southern border and foreign policy in general but it's obvious he's a figure head at best being propped up by the party. Harris being the next candidate.

Even with a very sympathetic media we are already seeing chinks in the armor. I see no way Biden makes it 4 years, he cannot keep the pace. Harris will end up owning these failures. It all really depends on who the Republicans run, they aren't above similar buffoonery. Many of the key states that won the Democrats the office could easily swing, especially if early trends continue.

From my center right point of view I'm interested to see who those on the left and right would like to see in the White House, considering the all out economic and trade blitz China has adopted. We need a strong leader, we don't have that in the White House at any level currently.
