President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

That's not how construction works.

You signed a contract for 20k. You then pay 2k to put a pause on it. You are still on the hook for 20k. Plus the 2k that you pay out indefinitely.

And then you will pay another 2k to start it back up, plus damages, and probably an escalation fee for increased cost. Some scope change because of fixes to the incomplete work from before. A redesign because of wanted improvements over the 4 years.

So in the end you will pay out at least 40 or 50k for a 20k contract. The wall builders love this. Anyone looking to make money for not working needs to be a private contractor for the Fed. It's great.

@hog88 can probably fill in a few more fees this will cost the US taxpayer for your 2k pause I forgot.
Political Capital...priceless.

VP Harris, now overseeing border crisis, called to decriminalize crossings, compared ICE to KKK

Harris has been accused of flip-flopping on decriminalizing illegal border crossings.

She was among the Democrats who raised their hands during a June 2019 presidential primary debate when asked if they were in favor of decriminalization. When Megan McCain asked her about it on "The View," Harris denied it, though she still said the law shouldn't be criminally enforced.

"I would not make it a crime punishable by jail. It should be a civil enforcement issue but not a criminal enforcement issue," she said.

Harris generated outrage in 2018 when she attempted to convince former Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Acting Director Ronald Vitiello to compare the agency to the KKK.

"Are you aware of the perception of many about how the power and the discretion at ICE is being used to enforce the laws and do you see any parallels [with the KKK]?," she said.

Biden still hasn't held a news conference, 64 days and counting
Though the president delivered his first prime time address last week to speak about the country’s progress in defeating the coronavirus pandemic, the stretch of over seven weeks is the longest period a new president has gone without meeting with the media in the last 100 years.

LOL. Scared chickensh!t. I might actually watch a Presidential presser when he holds his first one. I bet its going to be a DISASTER, especially if anyone asks any question he hasn't practice for in the last 50 days..
