You mentioned something about being taken seriously, was just a litmus test if we should take you seriously. And I'm wondering why you asked that question after I posted up a Tweet from some washed up 80s B List actress...
I was simply pointing out the stupidity in her post.
We need more people like Madison Cawthorne who stand up for what they believe in
It’s time we unmasked the Democrat agenda for what it is: a massive effort to destroy our Constitutional rights.
Since day one I’ve told you that I would defend our rights. Remember, if we lose the 2nd amendment then the rest will fall.
I won’t let that happen.
Rep. Cawthorn: Yes, Leftists Want to Take Your Guns
I've got mixed feelings on this. I think originally, you would see a huge amount of civil disobedience. But, if they know that a person has a firearm (thanks to these background checks, they have a digital record of you at least making a gun purchase), then they may just "sanction" you. Meaning, they will raid your bank accounts, maybe force you to lose your job, or some other measure that wouldn't require them to have to physically knock on your door. Especially if you see us move to a cashless society, that makes it even easier. My guess is less than 25% of owners would comply.
Yeah, the COVID stuff really opened my eyes. I was already a cynic and pessimist, but these people made me have an even lower outlook on humanity. In 2019 I would have said less than 10% would comply but after Covid I just don't know anymore. People I thought I knew not only complied but supported and called for more lockdowns and restrictions.
That too...After seeing all the public shaming over masks, I fully believe neighbors would be telling on each other over guns. I think the Dems will come hard after people that don’t comply and make real examples out of them.
no one is seizing anything
