2024 Presidential Race

They have about as much hope as I do.

1) Honestly, you'd probably be in the top half of post Vietnam presidents.

2) "Person X will never be president" is something I'm almost afraid to say now. Any lunacy imaginable is actually possible. All I know for sure is it is going to be a hell of a ride.

Well, at least we can claim to be the first Western nation that ever elected a known pedophile and dementia patient to Leader of the Free World.

yeah I mean when people were stupid enough to elect the reality TV actor from the Celebrity Apprentice show it pretty much showed that any idiot can be president

the guy from The Bachelorette that just got fired? The Survivor host? Drew Carey from the Price is Right? who will Republicans nominate in 2024 :)

Someone good enough to defeat the most qualified person ever.

And it is ironically sad that he was so much smarter and so much better at the job in a 4 year stint than a career politician that accomplished absolutely zilch in his 47 year get rich scheme.

I guess thats a matter of opinion. I think the reality TV guy sucked. badly.

Idk how anyone can live through 2020 and think he did a good job, but hey, I'm glad were all alive still to have this convo. Live and learn from the mistakes... I hope ;)

Well, considering how much damage Biden has already done, and how much illegal immigration has escalated from 800 per day at the end of Trumps term to over 6000, how many jobs he destroyed on day 2, the rate gas is increasing, etc., the tax death on the horizon, all since Jan. 21st, I'd say the opinions are just a denial of facts and job performance. I could give a rats a** what a person is like as long as they are good enough at their job that it keeps me a job. Everything else is a personal problem. And if you really want to compare Trump's virus handling verses Biden's so far, go right ahead. That'll be like slamming on your brakes on a sheet of ice. In essence the approach Trump tried to take was correct if not fully executed well. It was a state by state issue with federal support. Should have always gone that route.

If you think about it, it is really hard to be THAT bad. When Trump was elected my friends would say: "what's the worst that can happen"?

I thought Trump was a clown to begin with but even I didn't think we'd be looking at:

-a pandemic killing thousands of us a day,
-race riots
- two impeachments
-a crashed economy
-and republicans losing the house, senate and White House.

-
that's as bad as it gets. But hey- ya'll can nominate him in 2024 again if you want more of that fun ;)

You do realize both can suck right? It's ok to admit it
