Really? Shaka hasn’t won an NCAAT game at Texas and has a season of 11-22. It’s really not close who has done better.

Oh yea, and Shaka has 2 projected first round picks this year. Sound familiar? Unless some rosters change, I think Texas takes more of a step back than us next year.

Don’t give him the time of day. Most here are Barnes haters because he made us relevant again. Just ignore them. Barnes will be gone soon and everyone will wish he was back.

Smart: 109-86 56%, 7-8 in the NCAA tourney
Barnes: 123-72 63%

Smart had a good roster since arriving, still sucked. We had a ****** roster when Barnes showed up, but what did he do? Made us ****ing good again. Comparing Smart to Barnes is the dumbest **** you can do.

Shaka may not be the coach at Texas next year. Shaka is ass and will stay ass.

I think it's general frustration more than anything... we just went through hell in football and we were thought to do very well this year in bball... so everyone has gravitated to it so that there's something to root for and get behind... then bball becomes bi-polar week to week and then just 'ishes the bed in round one... Just a year's worth of UT frustration boiling over...

I think its pretty obvious that since I played pick up ball in College, and, backyard ball, I'm qualified authority to second guess a HOF basketball coach. NM the stark salary differences, knowledge bases, and tracks of success. Listen to me, despite what other coaches think and say, Barnes is done. I mean, the lay basketball fan can do that, amirite?

I’m just happy to be good in a sport where we historically suck.

Ha ha. Years ago I thought you could make a funny movie about a sports franchise that is ruled solely by its fans... coaches fired for every loss in which their teams was favored; maybe even fire coaches mid game for poor performance; wild coaching searches, etc etc

...then I realized I was living that comedy as a Tennessee fan!
