Is It Spring Yet?

I've had a few from Memphis made, I'm gonna be down in a month or so and the boy is takin me to a few places. You like that better than the new wiseacre taproom?
No their beer isn't as good as Wiseacre. I have yet to have a bad beer at Wiseacre.

The BRAG (Bicycle Ride Across Georgia) Spring Tune-Up 3-day loop ride begins in 10 days. They didn't have one last year, so, despite the covid-19 avoidance rules (masks et al), many regulars are looking forward to it. Beer tent, food trucks, live bands in the evenings, and ride routes through rural Morgan county Georgia (farm country). Grant fair weather, lord.

A few years ago, I and my cyclists pals were riding the Saturday loop through Rutledge. About 5 miles outside of Rutledge we espied what we thought was smoke from a yard waste fire. The wind was blowing it west to east. As we got closer, we realized it was plumes of pollen from the stand of pine trees - huge choking clouds of it. Yeah, buddy! Life on the southern Piedmont!

Some Internet message board poster asks, "Is your bike parked outside?"
"No, troll, it's between my legs, but you're to fat to ride."
And you're learning, a little more about my ways...

With a tip of the hat to Hank, Jr.
