I was texting in the super elite text group that I've found it hard to really get excited about this team. I'm not sure why. Maybe down deep I saw the flaws early and ignored them but down deep I knew not toget over excited. Also, I think maybe knowing Keon and Springer were one-and-dones might have not wanted to get too attached.

They’ve been a bit hard to root for, which has been rare during the Barnes era.

Well, my brother and I thought we would come out playing fast from the beginning of the year...Barnes should’ve been on it from the get go. This team was never going to have a dominant half court offense. No excuses. Poor coaching.

Get rid of him. Then you have 2 options: either...

A: actually pay big money for a Tony Bennett, Chris Beard, Brad Stevens type to come in and make us elite at basketball

B: hire a nobody from a mid major for 1.5 mil or less, let him tank the program and put all of that focus, energy, and money towards football

either go all out on being a basketball school or stop pretending to be one

This team was the very definition of Jekyll and Hyde. I absolutely agree with Barnes whenever he said, at their best, they could play with anyone...at their best, they were a top 5 to 8 team; BUT!!!...like today, whenever they weren’t at their best, they were absolute, overwhelmingly, pure garbage...ive never seen anything like it. There was no in-between...they were either great or very good, or they were unwatchable.

I hope to God that Chandler is everything he is supposed to be at PG, because this team is in desperate need of someone who can make plays and shots from that position; and, Barnes desperately has to find some shooters and scorers...an Alpha.

Somebody has to bring some heart to this team next year, hopefully.

I was all.for them. Love them as Vols but it was always in the back of my mind that they were around for only one year. My biggest disappointment is that they never got to experience TBA rocking and rolling. That would be enough for me to come back if I were in their shoes.
