2008 Titans

My comment wasn't based off of yesterday's game.

Where would you give Indy the advantage? Passing game, certainly. But they are clearly a step behind on the defensive side of the ball with little running game.

Indy is a one man band. Keep manning off the field, which we'd have a good shot at doing. Be relentless with the pressure and thats the formula. Jeff knows the formula.

I didn't guarantee a win. Defensively, their behind but the Titans O isn't as scary. If the Colts can keep it close into the 4th, I love their chances.
However, it might not even happen. The Chargers worry me.

Both teams have been hot. Can indy go out there and beat a good charger team twice in one year? Now thats the question. The chargers will be plenty motivated for it. They've also had indy's number lately when it has counted.

IMO the Colts have one glaring weakness....Peyton Manning. If they pressure him by blitzing a safety very regularly up the middle going man to man on the Colts WR's and can hold them on the line jamming them I'll show you a busy Colt's punter.

I wouldn't call it a weakness but I would say Peyton can be shook up and become vulnerable wth constant heavy pressure from our d-line.

Schwartz is good - but this defense will stay remain good without him - as long as we resign Haynesworth... but this is the Titans.. who are we kidding.. we always let our big name guys get away after their contracts are up.

If haynesworth makes it til feb 27 without signing with us, he's as good as gone.

Who do you think they'd hire as defensive coordinator if he leaves? Media seems to think it'd be the LB coach who used to be the cards coach (mcginnis?) or the jags DC who used to the titans DC - gregg williams

On Ryan winning the ORY

"He's a good player, and he played quarterback and did a good job this year," Johnson said of Ryan. "But the whole thing is bogus, because people are voting for it that are not on the same field as the people who are playing.

"I'm disappointed. I did all I could to win it. I feel I did the best. I feel I did all I could do to win it; it just didn't come my way."

He should be a little more concerned about the team.RYAN a clear cut choice over Johnson. Johnson had a great rookie season, but I certainly hope his efforts were for the team and not himself. That being said, the Titans WON'T win a game in the playoffs.

I think your dismissing them a little to prematurely. There are certain match ups possible that will be difficult for them. It all depends on who they play.

I could've sworn Mark Howard said he thought the Titans would be matched up with the Dolphins in round two this morning. What an idiot.

He should be pissed. He got shafted, Ryan didn't even make the Pro Bowl and he damn near cost his team the playoffs.
