The Border Crisis May Be Coming to Your Kids' School

The Biden administration is scrambling to shelter thousands of unaccompanied minors crossing the southern border from Central America. The media are declaring the crush at the border a "crisis."

Truth is, this crisis could be heading to your school district. If your kids are in public school or you pay school taxes, you need to know the facts.

The media show photos of young migrant children. Don't fall for that. Three-quarters of these unaccompanied minors are young men ages 15 to 17. Think tattoos, not teddy bears.

These teens are carrying the name and phone number of a relative in the U.S. who will sponsor them. A few weeks after surrendering to border officials, they'll board buses to Los Angeles, Houston or New York City - the three most frequent destinations - or elsewhere in the U.S. where their sponsor lives.

Their education will cost thousands of dollars a year more than for the average student because they'll need linguistic experts, tutors, psychological counseling, vaccinations and other support.

They also consume most of a classroom teacher's attention, leaving the rest of the class to make do with less.

Nothing in that graph shows how the money is being spent. It also doesn't talk about the absolute waste that had nothing to do with immediate economic needs.

It's universal in this board that anyone claiming to be an attorney knows squat about numbers, math, economics, hygiene, etc

Ok, one of those may not be backed by actual fact

Ocasio-Cortez went viral in 2019 after previously unseen photos of her crying near a migrant detention center were released

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has only tweeted about the situation at the border a handful of times since President Biden took office, compared to her dozens of tweets about the border -- including accusations that the GOP constructed "mass concentration camps" -- during the Trump administration.

"This is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay - no matter the administration or party," Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter on Feb. 23 in response to a Washington Post story titled "First migrant facility for children opens under Biden."

I'm just glad Biden is in Atlanta meeting with Asian leaders so they can figure out how to blame the killings on white supremacy, after all the press has branded this a racist attack.

Wait, so she tweeted about it "dozens" of times in 4 years and a "handful" of times in 2 months, and we're supposed to conclude from that vague info that she's not emphasizing it as much anymore?

She's a true believer. Wouldn't surprise me she puts him on blast for Biden's Banditos. But let's see if she stages another photo op (real or fake).
