I know Tx. Southern won. But I don't like teams that dothat. It zaps so much energy to come back like that, that you don't have anything left at the end.
It makes me think of the 18 TN team. All year in the reg season they would get down then come back. Did it in the tourney too just didn't have enough against Purdue.Agreed, one reason I think App State couldn't pull it off, they had the deepest hole to dig out of and Norfolk State just held on. Was a fun game, UCLA/Michigan State was probably the most entertaining though seemed both teams were playing really well the whole game.
Drake looked terrible in the 1st half, App State looked awful in their first half and then Norfolk looked awful in the 2nd half.
This article that you linked here stated that the womens NCAA tourney does not turn a profit...... is not self sustaining .... the colleges that win the women’s tourney don’t receive any financial benefit for winning unlike the men.... I agree that they should have done more for them but the men’s and women’s games are on two entirely different levels right now. Most recent story.
Women’s March Madness Is Growing In Popularity—and Undervalued.
In the past they were losing money though, but the most recent article with loses reported was 2016 from what I could find. So seems things are changing if the 2019 information is accurate.

I would bet that they could have reached out to some local establishments to set up a workable gym for the women for just a little bit of free advertising during the game..... it could have been something as simple as something inside the stadium with their business name on it.Thank you for the nuance. It's ok to think that they aren't on the same level as the men's game but at the same time understand that what was provided was not adequate.
Trap article...maybe it just meant the NCAA tournament overall is making over 1 billion? Weird.
Still to me it's irrelevant, the host location is the same facility basically. It was intentional to just leave yoga mats and a set of DBs and that's what's so disgusting. There's even a video showing the space for the women and one side is completely empty with just folding chairs in it. So they had the space to setup more equipment, they simply didn't.
Yep...... they lied..... they didn’t want to spend money on something that is costing them money.Trap article...maybe it just meant the NCAA tournament overall is making over 1 billion? Weird.
