Ted Cruz Blasts Democrats Over COVID Aid: ‘Indisputable’ That Illegal Immigrants ‘Are Receiving Checks Right Now’

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed Democrats for pushing a $1.9 trillion aid bill through Congress while rejecting his amendment to block funds from going to illegal immigrants.

“It is clear and indisputable that a significant number of illegal immigrants will receive checks and are receiving checks right now. All 100 members of this body were misinformed by the Democratic senator that no illegal aliens would receive … stimulus checks,” Cruz said, referring to Durbin. “So I want to give my colleagues a chance to adopt the amendment now with the correct information, with the true information, with the factual information.”

Column: Biden’s actions speak louder than his mixed messages to migrants

On March 14, the day that Kevin McCarthy and 12 House Republicans went to Texas to visit the southern border, the El Paso Central Processing Center for migrants reached capacity. The Republicans heard heartbreaking stories of unaccompanied children, some less than six years old, crossing the border while holding hands. Border agents informed the congressmen that fentanyl traffickers are exploiting the surge in illegal immigration. One agent told John Katko, ranking member on the Homeland Security Committee, that a few of the apprehended migrants appear on the terrorist watch list. Border and immigration personnel are stretched thin. "They’ve never seen anything like this," McCarthy told me.

Biden Implicitly Admits Trump Was Right: Asks Mexico to Help Stop Surge, Promises Vaccine Doses

Joe Biden based his campaign on doing something about the Wuhan coronavirus.

But he’s lied about everything that President Donald Trump did to fight the virus including developing the vaccines and the vaccination plan that Biden benefited from.

He’s also let in thousands of illegal aliens without testing them for the virus, hundreds of whom are positive. It’s clearly more important to let in illegal aliens than it is to protect Americans apparently.

Now, he’s in deep trouble on the border with Mexico with the surge of thousands illegally flooding in, a crisis of Biden’s own making.

So he’s reached out to Mexico and reportedly quietly asked them to help stop the flood, according to the New York Times. Oh, and he might be able to help them out with some vaccine doses.

Biden inauguration Priest Rev. Kevin O’Brien under Investigation in California

The Jesuit priest who officiated then-President-elect Joe Biden’s inaugural Mass — and has been a family friend for almost 15 years — is under investigation for unspecified allegations and is now on leave from his position as president of Santa Clara University in California, according to the college.

The Rev. Kevin O’Brien allegedly “exhibited behaviors in adult settings, consisting primarily of conversations, which may be inconsistent with established Jesuit protocols and boundaries,” according to a statement by John Sobrato, chairman of the college’s board of trustees.

New questions over Biden's health as the president, 78, stumbles multiple times up the stairs of Air Force One before falling down: Recovers to give a salute before flying to Atlanta

Biden, 78, was boarding the aircraft at Joint Base Andrews just before noon for a flight to Atlanta when he stumbled. He gripped on to the railing, steadied himself and kept going but lost his footing a second time and then a third.

On the third trip, he fell to his knees. He got back up then carried on up the stairs before giving a salute at the top then disappearing into the aircraft.

Once on the plane, White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that he was '100 percent fine' and was preparing for his trip in Atlanta.

The fall is also the latest in a string of incidents which raise concern over the President's health and comes a day after he referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as 'President Harris'.

Watching poor Joe Biden trying to cope day to day in failing health with (arguably) the most demanding and stressful job in the world is like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
