Location of elbow strike signals intent. Elbow to ribs or gut equals “clearing out” acceptable basketball move in physical game.
Elbow up high to neck area should have stopped play for unsportsmanlike conduct with technical foul and ejection. Second elbow up high to face shows malice with intent to harm.
Hitting someone in the face with the tip of the elbow is a disabling blow in many forms of martial arts. The tip of the elbow is one of the strongest, hardest parts of the body and can be a devastating bludgeon. Example: results of elbow to cheek in referenced basketball game.
Just do it at the Ford Center at the Star. The Frisco ISD will replace them...especially if we blame it on the weekend custody miscreants who scurry around the place.Heck, I will be tearing down goal posts in Texas. All the DFW Vols with me? We will make national news when we tear down the goal posts in Cowboy stadium! Jerry won’t care, will get him unwarranted attention and media time.![]()
I’m predicting Burrell arrives this season and McCollough flourishes. Said it.12 4 stars and 1 5 star on defense, without counting anyone in the portal... I don't think it's as bad as folks think and some of these guys with a full off-season of player development may be pretty productive immediately.
I really thought we would grow a pair under DW’s leadership. Not so far, anyway.
I don’t know, maybe he’s just playing ball until we get out from under the NCAA cloud. Regardless, I haven’t been impressed with his tenure, so far.
I would pay money to see one prior social media post by anyone he claims to train giving him a shout out. Thanks for the guidance, coaching, training.... hell anything.![]()

Keep forgetting Fields. Gotta be SOMETHING there...we’ll most likely be shocked.Ultimately I think Rodney getting the most out of the DL will be a huge benefit. Deepest group with the most talent especially if you "count" those OLB guys that primarily play with a hand in the dirt.
I agree though Burrell, McCollough, Fields, Slaughter, & McDonald all younger guys that have plenty of talent and could really show out. Especially when you remember Slaughter & McDonald haven't had a full camp yet to work on developing.
