Should of worn his Biden 2020 shirtAtta boy, Joe!
Migrants stuck at Mexico border thought they'd get easier entry: 'Biden promised us!'
This is too funny!
Another migrant, Jettner, believed that his life would "change 180 degrees" because he was about to walk across the border, but he was also immediately turned around.
His life did change 180 degrees. He was turned back!
How many convictions of Hatch Act violations have ever been applied?Yeah. They were patrolling then took a flag and mounted it on their boat so they could show support for President Trump if I recall correctly. Seems like a pretty clear violation of the Hatch Act and they probably should have known better.

Support for. Especially given your side of the equation hates cops.
I mean, until they have to kill an unarmed protestor. Then they love them.
An anonymous Democratic House member told The Hill in February that they did not think the government should be raising taxes.
"People would accept the corporate tax raised a few points but beyond that you're going to have problems, especially in the middle of an economic crisis," the lawmaker said at the time.
Notwithstanding the completely unsupported implication you've made that I hate cops, what does any of that have to do with the fact that a sheriff got a form letter slap on the wrist from DOJ because he did something he probably knew he shouldn't?

Nevermind confused this with the Flynn / Logan Act BS.
It was a not so veiled threat and was completely unnecessary, and I’d say the same if a GOP DOJ did this.I doubt they're actively prosecuting Hatch Act cases very often either, but it wouldn't surprise me if they occasionally send out letters and close the file like they did with this case in response to complaints

I don't think it's really a partisan issue. They've popped Obama flunkies in the past too (based on wikipedia). As far a threat, of course it is. There's a rule in place, it was broken, there was a complaint, and the agency in charge of enforcement sent out a "don't do it again or we'll actually enforce the rule" letter.
BS according to Wiki.
Katherine Sebelius blatantly violated it and the White House did squat. She also did far worse during that time with the IRS scandal.
Julian Castro also "violated" it and that was borderline.
Now, how many times was it invoked during Trump's Presidency?
