Heupel has been all about building unity in the team and trying to get them to do things away from football together...... From the news reports..... it sounds like that has been a resounding success.
Was that what the players were doing last week when they were arrested? Hanging out and doing fun stuff together :cool::cool:

I think a few one and dones are never a bad thing. But i agree the Cal Uk program of 5 one and dones every year is a terrible idea.
It also makes me think we should definitely push for 2 and dones in football immediately. What better equalizer could there be than Bama's best leaving before even being upperclassmen? Bet it would bring far more parity than changing class sizes, changing the playoffs, etc. CBB has tons of parity because recruiting can only take you so far. There is no blue chip ratio guaranteed success in basketball.

I’ve got one reason to stay away from the marijuanas: Bill Walton. How he’s still gainfully employed by ESPN is beyond me.
Some people love listening to him. I'm in that group. His stories can be great and his overreactions to the smallest swings in a game are entertaining. Ya just can't take him too seriously or expect deep play by play analysis. You know what you're signing up for.

Man I remember some really pretty decent teams. Between sprawl and indifference by School system, football is a token sport.

Other areas take it more seriously.

Anyone want to guess what SEC team outrecruited us in basketball last year (#5 nationally) not named Kentucky?

LSU...how the crap is that place still operating?!?
It’s why I don’t believe investigating yourself is the way to go..... there is no justification for how the NCAA is doing business.

Alcohol in moderation has huge cardiac benefits. (Especially red wine over others.) Many medical studies to prove this. Red wine can also slow some types of cancer...also proven medically.

Hasn't alcohol, in any amount, been linked to higher cancer rates? I believe larger amounts increases the risk, but even small amounts greatly increase the risk vs zero alcohol.

Not sure how red wine plays into this (or are those drinkers naturally just more health-conscious folks?), but that is what I've seen at least.

Feels like much of the "pro alochol/health benefits" stuff is backed by the right folks. But I'm open to the other side.
