No, we absolutely do not need immigration reform. We need to enforce what we have. Why should we accept immigrants who haven't attempted fought to improve their own countries and simply take the easier way out? We need to get more of our own employed and working rather than exacerbate the problem.

They are working up to ventriloquism for "Joe the Dummy". The only way to make it work is cover his mouth because Joe can't silently mumble along and do a good lip-sync.

Regime change whiplash is one of our biggest faults, and one largely caused by ignoring the Constitution. The legislative process had a lot of negative bias (as defined by dynamics and controls) built in; we didn't in the past allow a small majority to rule like we do now - bills like the covid stimulation package could never have been passed without major bipartisan support. If the president did not become a super legislator through executive orders, that would also slow down hyper partisan regime change. Activist cabinet members would still be a problem unless congress actually put aside partisanship and looked at the candidate and as the position as one not of activism. Since we currently haven't really figured out who we are and what we really stand for (and forgotten or rejected who we were), there's little hope on foreign policy and our direction on the world stage. At least we aren't a colonizer like the Europeans were a century ago. Perhaps we should just stay home and shut up if we can't figure out our own problems.

If he's competent, why won't they let him answer questions? And it's hard for there to be drama when he doesn't say anything.

There are no good guys in politics. That's just a dumb comment.
