Lady Vol sports had a pretty nice day today. The volleyball team also won their first match against the Arkansas Razorbacks in four sets. The Lady Vols came from one set down to win three sets in a row against a very good Arkansas squad.

Nobody said they were getting swept! I said they can’t afford to lose this series goin to Alabama next week. Hopefully they can close out this series with a win tomorrow. We can disagree on the direction of the softball team and that’s fine, but when you spew out baseless statements I’ll call you out on it every time.

I've known many of the players' parents over the years, including players that have stayed all four years and some that transferred. I used to go to games quite frequently back when I had a job that allowed for it and when I was a student at UT in the late 2000s - early 2010s, and I even went to OKC when they made the WCWS in 2010. Not to mention the parents of UT players used to be all over the message boards, here, The Summitt, and Ultimate College Softball. A lot of the opinions I have on the Weeklys have actually been shaped by talking to parents of the players, both in person and online.

Which baseless statements are those? Please let me know? I said how many times have UT and Arizona played since 2010....I don't care about the record....I just said how many times have they played

I too was at the 2010 WCWS....that is where I got a chance to actually talk to Ralph and Karen....they're softball through and through....every time they see me they remember me and ask how I'm doing

I don’t see any improvement, defensively. Don’t be blinded by loyalty. Batting needs work before tackling any current top program. Jus saying.

1. you said Alabama was not the best softball team in the SEC! This tells me you don’t follow softball on a conference level let alone a National one.
2. Everything you said about Candrea/Az was false.
3. UT’s program is in good hands(we can debate this one)
4. I bet you are still reeling from the Holly and Butch firings?

Last year they made 40 errors in 23 games. This year they have 8 errors through 20 games. They lead the SEC in fielding percentage going into today's games. Does that count?

Look at our defensive % this year compared to last year....Batting will be there it always is...the problem we have had in the past is 1-9 not going at the same time

Against whom? Mid majors? And it was a good but ugly win against LSU. But before some of you get all Camelot, realize that LSU softball isn’t as strong a team as some want to believe.

Nope, don’t hate. But won’t be unrealistic about what the Weeklys are putting out there. No different our fans trying to sugarcoat the issues the past few years with Lady Vol BB. Our goals each year should be the WCWS and yet, some of you gloat about reaching the Supers. Which is it? Elite 8 or Final Four? WCWS or Supers? What is the goal here? And you can’t achieve the higher by being unrealistic. Puhleeeese...

Is it easier to throw a ball from shortstop to first base against a mid major? Is it easier to field a grounder or a fly ball against a mid major?

Florida is better than Alabama...this tells me you don't follow softball on a national level let alone the SEC

What did I say about Candrea that was false? His Wildcats have struggled getting back to the WCWS? 2019 was their first appearance since 2010

Ralph and Karen will be with Lady Vol softball for as long as they please....will probably retire here

That's false....now you're just reaching smdh

LSU lead the nation in ERA last year and returned everyone but carry on....Andrew is also a great base stealer and terrific CF
