Yep, and that was the new, sleeker version of HT in action. Banks is just a better athlete overall and has a nose for the ball. Too bad he was not previously developed to be what he has become. Maybe he can take another step forward this season.
Most fans only watch the ball. That's OK if they don't take the game seriously. I'm no pro at it like you and your co-workers/friends, but enjoy it. I drive my wife and others crazy stopping the action and rewinding to point out stuff like that every game. When we have friends over she forces me to leave it alone until afterwards. lol. You get so much more from it by focusing on other players and position groups. You learn why a play works or doesn't and more about the chess match involved.
For recognition and taking angles, one of my former player pet peeves was was Rashaan Gaulden. If he had been developed by top coaches - wow, what a player he could have been. But angles and him were not friends. His speed bailed him out at times, but too many times he took terrible angles even when he read the play correctly. It didn't help they had him at nickel most of the time when he was a SS type. A little to small and not the right scheme for him to play the position I guess.
