That's not the same logic at all.
What I find odd is how so many of you consider the good ole days to have been so much better and think things have just been going to sh!t since.
In the good ole days, parents supported schools and teachers. If a child ever got into trouble, 99% of parents would believe the school and punish the child also.
Now it's all about defending the child, while blaming the school or the teacher or the "man". You guys claim to hate that "victim" mentality yet perpetuate that very thing.
Yup. I am waiting to see how this effected team chemistry at all. I didnt make varsity until senior year, complained, and never once got punished. It's not like this child did something bad - she made a statement on social media expressing frustration. You act like she committed a crime and needs the school to distribute punishment.
Claiming this affects team chemistry so it's the purview of the school is asinine.

Social media is going to be the bane of a lot of young people. Dredging up stupid pictures from HS or college days will be tame by comparison. For me at almost 75, I don't care, I'm already a deplorable and even proven to have Neanderthal genes, and I'm not about to do something stupid and run for office; but for a lot of other people in a woke culture what we say in places like VN is playing with fire. Life is going to get very interesting for a lot of kids who feel the need to express their thoughts and feelings.
I'm thankful there was no such thing as cell phones (especially ones with cameras) when I was a teenager through early 20s.
I love the smell of competence in the morning
