Commend you for learning self defense and having a ccw permit. DO NOT take this as a discouragement, but tkd is not the best form of self defense. Most techniques taught today are for competition points. I have taken tkd for years, have also been in dozens of fights in my younger days. Tkd is a pretty art form, looks great in movies, but is usually ineffective in real world situations.
Look for an actual self defense class where no rule techniques are taught! (They don’t teach throat punches in tkd😉)
As for your CCW, like mentioned above, practice and get used to it! It will always be your best form of defense!
Muscle memory!!

The mom's class I was taking was specifically for self-defense. We learned about 20 ways to get out of different holds or away from attacks. The instructor showed how to break out of cable-ties, then all the ladies got to practice. We were taught palm to nose strikes and throat punches. :)

I don't mind guns. Shooting is fun, and I'm not bad at it. I'm just afraid I wouldn't be able to shoot a person. Different situation, but I went deer hunting one time. Love venison, have nothing against hunting. Three deer come super close to where I'm sitting, and I can't pull the trigger. It was more like deer watching. If my life's in danger, I would like to think I could pull the trigger, but if I have a gun and hesitate, then I could be in a worse situation. Don't know how to get past that.

Compliment. Darnold will be a much better player under anyone but Gase. Their mechanics are very similar.
Are the Jets going to draft a QB and trade Darnold, or are they going to just roll with Darnold? Some of the national sports media believe he could be traded, and that it wouldn't cost a first round pick to get him.
