If you are as old as @InVOLuntary @BaldBiker or @SergeantVol you need to restrain them a little or your calves will get bruised.
I am glad he decided to handle it this way as it sounds like you learned your lesson. Sounds like he was a good platoon sergeant.Didn't nearly kill myself, but there's an entire weekend that I still can't remember thanks to Everclear. I remember being at a motel party in Jacksonville, NC on Friday night; the next thing I remember is my platoon sergeant standing face to face with me saying "PFC DeusExMachina.....breathe", so I did. He then sent me back to my room because there was NO way I was doing PT that morning or even making it to class.
The conversation we had later that day after I came to was one of the best *** chewings I've ever recieved.

I have fought that beast. 11 shots, that I remember, in about an hour, hour and a half time period. Only time I ever blacked out from drinking. We used to shoot Clear before going to the club, then once we hit the club, we could nurse a drink and maintain our drunk. We got the bright idea to play a game doing shots of Clear one night, and I think it's safe to say the Everclear won.Had a friend who damn near killed himself drinking Everclear....... straight..He eventually ended up in prison... That boy was dumber than a bag of hammers...
No it's not. It's just your old ass thinking we are going to suck again. And, we may well suck again. But, here's the thing. It's a lot more fun to think we might be good than it is to think that we are definitely going to be bad. You really should try it sometime.I haven’t been wrong. Pruitt was a joke and a failure and many here bent over backwards to defend him when some of us questioned his decisions. Many are drinking the koolaid again already.
Our opponents are chewing steel and spitting nails. We’re doing blindfolded obstacle courses to build trust. Ok fine, but don’t put it on Twitter. It’s a joke man. That’s some Young Life Tremont camp nonsense.

Everclear always wins.I have fought that beast. 11 shots, that I remember, in about an hour, hour and a half time period. Only time I ever blacked out from drinking. As the father of three daughters, if anyone gives my daughters unwanted attention I will return the favor.
No means no. But if a young woman of legal age chooses to be with an old dude, it becomes a different story. Hugh Hefner had those young bunnies throwing themselves at him. As long as both sides are willing, who am I to judge?
But again, I stress of legal age.
I guess everyone has their entertainment. Nothing about that sounds fun to me, if you are keeping score at homeLOL, we used to play a drinking game at a bar my friend ran. We would line up 20 shots at the end of the bar and put in bids on how many we would be willing to bang out back to back. It started out good enough but always got shiitey later. The game was you could not get counted out with your head on the bar wrestling style. Even if you won you lost.
They needed it because the second and third quarters were horrendously bad.
I'm a believer in self-worth, but I'm also a believer in finding your own happiness, wherever it may lead you. What you think and how you feel should overrule any conformity others expect from you. Living life just to make others happy, trying to live up to perceived expectations, well, that's not really living life. People need to follow their own paths, because we're not all meant to walk the same one.I try daily to show my daughters that their worth does not come from the attentions of a man/boy and they should never feel that they need the attention of a man/boy to feel validated. Their worth comes from God and nowhere else. The world tells young ladies differently but I disagree with most of what the world puts out there, especially in regards to my daughters and how they should be raised.
Not @ing you. Just a subject I am particularly passionate about.

One of the winners of the coaching change was Merrill IMOReally interesting how it’s worked out for Heupel that we had several of the newcomers enroll early especially on offense. Gives him a spring to get them fast tracked for the Fall. I am actually very excited to see Spring practice and game.
QB - will be a battle to watch with all the competition already on campus. How does he manage the reps? I doubt we see them tip hands to the starter because you risk multiple transfers before Fall.
RB - we are very lucky that Tiyon and Wright were EEs with the losses of Gray and Chandler.
WR - Big Spring for this past years freshman class in an offense that will actually use them. Add Walker Merrill and the JUCO kid to the mix.
TE - Campbell gets a jump on the offense and weight room at a much needed position. I will not be surprised if Warren suddenly becomes a weapon.
If the group up front can stay healthy and we get some really good practices with this crew in Spring then by Fall you could potentially have this offense clicking by Game 1.
