TFG's Summer Watch Thread

Wtf....it was just a normal mid-year check up. Blood work came back all within healthy ranges. No HIV, herp, derp, gonorrhea, haids, hepatitis, or any other STDs. My BP was a little higher than it needs to be tho, so my doc did want to tweak my meds a little.

U fuggers are such fuggers!!!!

game time temps are 70 degrees, party cloudy

No doubt I could get more, but the sports function won't work after 15% so I started charging at 20%. I got to 13 days at 15%. Instructions say it'll go 30 days if only using it as a watch. I use the walk and workout function about 5 times a day.

And....I've got $20 bucks on it.👍
Yea that’s why I have what I can average. Our battery life is very similar and price is drastically skewed. Fwiw, I get dozens of face options, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

What did your physician say about your weak GIF game?

Yeah the face options and app quality are important, to me and I still don't know how long this will last before it starts "having issues" or just stops working.

I know I've said it several times and it probably ain't a big deal to no one but me, but if I knew the Garmin, fitbit or galaxy in the $150-225 range had the alarms and the vibration of the alarms that this one had, I'd go ahead and bite the bullet.

What alarms and vibrations are you looking for? My watch bluetooths to the phone, so I get vibrate notifications for calls, texts, and other phone notifications. It’ll vibrate when I haven’t moved in a hot minute. I think the $200-ish range Garmins do the same

Mine does all that but it also allows me to set up to 10 other alarms. But the big thing is it's a really strong vibration, not just a little buzz. The other $100 one I had and liked only buzzed 3 times for about 2 seconds, and it was mosquito type buzz.

I've got 56,418 since Monday.
Its gonna be a skewed week for me, same for next week. I'm gonna be about 12000 steps short this week and about 6000 short next week. The next week I'll be back to normal.

Why will it be short next week?

Lulz. Did you see you can change it to start the week on Monday instead of Sunday? If you want.
I did. Changed it when I was trying to find that sync prompt.

Do I have to register, or is that optional?

I would consider this a significant vibration. When I’m charging it two rooms over I hear it buzzing over the floor. It’s enough that I turn Bluetooth off at night so the vibrations don’t wake me up

See, that's the thing. I've been scared to spend that kind of money only to find out I love everything about it, except the most important. All those expensive ones might be better than what I have, (as far as the alarms) I just haven't wanted to gamble. Especially when mine was awesome.

What watch do you have?
