I hope Garner can pull Walter Nolen out of Tennessee.

We desperately need help on the DL.

is Nolen a NPA player?

I've been asking D1 if he's going to allow his players to go to UT. He alluded to it after Pruitt was fired. He isn't answering; so, that means the answer is no. So far that would be true. Also, he admitted they were helping to get their players a transfer destination. Hence the exodus to Oklahoma. I could be wrong but it appears like D1 and NPA want to stick it to UT.

P.S.- I'm not a D1 hater. He's one of my favorite posters here. Some on here have turned into a D1 hater.... Perhaps I will too if he comes out and admits the above is true. I'm hoping he just needs some time to cool off..

Well he's made it a point in the past that his business does not push a player one way or the other, that they try and stay neutral, that this type of behavior would be bad for business long term... if he is trying to sway/keep kids from coming to UT and has that kind of power, that's really disappointing and dirty/shallow/immature...

Noth

Nothing positive or negative has happened yet... we may have missed on a couple QBs when we have a coach that has never had below average qb production any where he has been.... it seems like a lot of fretting over nothing..... Clemson bc they got the right guy..... I’m sure several Clemson fans were ecstatic over them promoting the wr coach..... I don’t know if hype is that guy or not but I will support him until he proves he is not the guy.

This.

Wish people would give it a rest until at least SP. Then they can whine and wring their hands until fall camp.

This year's recruiting class could truly suck, but if it does, I think it's more about Pruitt and NCAA sanctions than it is about JH and his staff. They have to rebuild relationships, deal with the negativity left behind behind the last staff, and fight through an NCAA investigation over something they had nothing to do with. Not an easy task in one recruiting cycle. We'll see what happens.
I am really pulling for Heupel and his crew. The amount of overly negative bull**** being thrown at them sickens me. After seeing what Heupel has done with his QBs everywhere he has been in his career, Horn is a idiot for going to Mizzou.

Dorkwitz doesn't have half the offensive and QB development resume Heupel has put together.

When studying Drew Lock's career at Mizzou, the before, during and after of Heupel’s effect on his numbers is astonishing.

My dog met the Lord today. Thanks for all the kind words. I will miss him for a long time. He was my shadow.
Man in sorry for you loss, I lost mine about 3 months ago and still get sad every day. Its tough but I know he is in a better place, his health went down and I had to do it, hardest thing I have ever done.

I think we really need to give this staff a chance to see how they do in recruiting this year. Nobody has signed anything as of yet and we all should know by now that the mindset of any kid and or their parents can change at anytime between now and the time when the commitment really counts and that is when they sign and even then it isn't set in stone until they start school or at least that is how it seems lately.

The past couple days have been tough to miss out on our top two QB prospects but I trust the staff to find the right guy for them and develop them to be a solid QB in their system. This video is like 30 minutes long but their attention to detail and their process shows promise for success on the field. Militello followed CJH from UCF to here so we’re in good hands guys. Trust the process!

I firmly believe the first two will happen.... I still can’t believe we blew ourselves up to get rid of Pruitt.... hopefully.... plowman knows what she is doing in regards to the NCAA.
She’s following the investigative law firm’s recommendations...not their first rodeo.

In fairness, do we know what he heard from Vitello? Is his BB game as strong as football? Does he see BB as an easier path to pro sports? I'm not attacking you, I think we are assuming this is strictly about football, and it may not be.

I cannot wait to watch this offense in action.

I know..... I have seen teams use those firms for defense(like we are doing) and offense( telling the NCAA to suck it) it always seems to work out better when you fight them imo..... I hope this time is different.

Best QB in Mizzou history and best Offense in school history was coached by the guy in Knoxville now

I’m sure you’ve compiled a case study of both examples. I’ll await that publishing. Til then I’ll follow the logic of the professionals. “Use for defense” is the same as “trust experienced professionals” imo.

The Horn thing isn't finished. Probably wants to see what the offense looks like. Also, wants a better understanding of what the potential Penalties might be. You know Kirby, Mullen, Saban etc. are telling these kids that the death penalty is in our future.

Meanwhile, QB is not a priority this year. I know, I know, you need to take one every year. I think that used to be more of the case but now, with the transfer portal, you can always grab one. Bailey and Salter will be our QBs for the next 3-4 years. Both are completely capable, very talented quarterbacks.

Priorities are other positions primarily on the line of scrimmage.

Personally, I don’t trust case studies due to fact they the author typically uses information to back up the conclusion that they wanted..... Despite that..... I will do my case study: I looked at five teams.... Auburn basketball, Auburn Football, North Carolina Basketball, LSU basketball, Auburn Football, Ole Miss football, Missouri athletics...... All the teams besides Missouri fought back..... none of the teams received any type of real punishment besides ole miss whose punishment was not much more than Missouri’s..... the NCAA called what ole miss was doing the worse cheating that they had seen in years.... Missouri was very upset that the NCAA was as hard on them as they were when it was proven that it was a rogue tutor..
