We re with you! Sick of these dudes carrying water for this mediocre coach who has bungled an elite recruiting class and mix of solid veterans. We have shat away a year of promise. But all people want to shout is “who else we going to get”....

You think it's impossible to find a coach who continually peters out at the end of the year and underachieves relative to talent year after year?

I mean, I think firing him isn't the answer right now, but finding an alright coach isn't some kind of wizardry if he were to leave or retire.

Two years of promise. I’m still bitter over the 2018-19 team losing to AU in the regular season to let them win the SEC championship and losing to them in the SECT championship

I don't know how nice he really is because he NEVER takes blame for his team's under achieving. It's ALWAYS the players fault. To me a coach that does not adapt to his team strength and sticks to his way is not a good coach. He obviously can't recruit to the style he wants to play.

The thought of Deans Smith 4 corner stall offense comes to mind when Tennessee runs their offense. They seem to be running a 4 corner offense(badly) but no one can make it to the basket and they have to attempt a 3 with no one in position to rebound much. Am I wrong? After watching 50 years of watching UT basketball I don't understand what I am seeing. Also why do rebounds clank off their hands? Why is Barnes so in love with 6 5 or 6 6 forwards?

Ahh remember the good old days when the haters laughed at Pearl going to a dead Auburn program. " He'll be fired in three years" Blah, blah, blah. Built the program, took them to the FF. That probably would have been UT in the FF. Now he owns our 5 million dollar coach. Ya can't make this up.

So, the fear of getting a bad coach outweighs the opportunity to get a good coach while possibly settling on an ok coach like the one we have? I can't think of anything more Tennessee than this lack of assertiveness.

Cuonzo wasn't much worse than Barnes anyway. Tyndall wasn't particularly terrible. He did get us Admiral, Alexander and LaMonte. The lying about violations was the worse thing.

We can most definitely find a decent coach if we pony up the type of cash we pay Barnes.
