Probably because Pearl is the reason why we got into this mess in the first place.
Had he not go full blown stupid over something so small, he’d probably still be here.
Barnes for the most part is trying to build our program the right way and he’s getting crucified for it.
Barnes finally comes out and defends his teams lack of gusto. Kind of.
Rick Barnes: 'There is something to be said about COVID fatigue'
you are spot on!Barnes is the problem. He has taken the fun out of it for these guys and you can tell by the way they are playing. Early in the season they were running up and down the court and having fun. Barnes constantly jumps their azz and jerks them out of games if they make a mistake. Instead Of playing loose and having fun they play scared. That’s why , except for Bailey, they are scared to shoot and pass up open shots all the time. It’s getting old.
Lol, that’s not why he’s getting “crucified” honey....unless “build our program the right way” means baffling lineups, no offensive game plans, striking out on front court prospects, and flaming out late in the season ...Probably because Pearl is the reason why we got into this mess in the first place.

maybe... auburn chose to take that chance and got a FF run out of it... we didn’t... I’d say most Auburn fans would say it was worth it. NCAA is a joke nowadays anywaysYes and they hired Pearl... Look I hope Pearl gets his act together and for the next few years it is us and Auburn in the final of the SEC tourney every year. But I don’t wish we had him over Barnes. He’s proven to be a liability. FACT.
These takes are amazing for a team that is 16-6, vying for Top 3 in conference and a projected 4/5 NCAAT seed...there is a middle ground between being a really good team and “checking out” on the season.
Projection 101...CRB is a bad coach with no other possible explanation and they have to substantiate this thought with whatever opinions they can form to support their mantra - even when those opinions are ludicrous (i.e., players have checked out). The stats show we take good shots...one would think that is a sign of good coaching. The stats show Fulkerson is scoring nowhere near his proven All SEC capabilities (especially 6 out of our 8 last games)...it would seem to me that the most plausible explanation is his health and not the coaching he is getting this season. Springer stated publicly CRB has asked him and Keon to play up tempo all season but, nope, must be these high character kids lying to cover for CRB's poor coaching...and on, and on, and on....lol.
